After signing Superstar K2‘s Kim Eun Bi into their agency back in January, YG Entertainment has finally released an official profile picture of their upcoming star.
On November 21st, YG updated their ‘YG-life‘ blog with a new photo of Kim Eun Bi (18). The sweetheart from the popular audition program has transformed into a confident young woman with a loud sense of style.
Netizens immediately pointed out that the transformation seems a bit too dramatic, however, prompting rumors of plastic surgery to rise. In response, representatives of YG stated, “During that time, Kim Eun Bi practiced every day and lost 8 kg compared to her ‘Superstar K2′ days.”
YG also released a statement earlier today about how their new 5~7 member girl group (which Kim Eunbi is a part of) will not receive any plastic surgery treatments, as they want to introduce a girl group that emphasizes natural beauty.
Still not buying the "no-surgery" policy

News of singer MC Mong, who was previously found guilty of delaying his military enlistment, has emerged.
An unnamed source close to the singer spoke to KBS's "Entertainment Weekly" on November 19th. He revealed, "Celebrities, including the '1 Night 2 Days' members, have not been able to contact MC Mong. They have been asking me about him. He has a social phobia now and is unable to even go to the hospital."
He was given a six month jail sentence, suspended for a year, and was also ordered to complete a hundred and twenty hours of community service.
He tweeted on that day, "Sorry, and sorry yet again. I will atone for this sin for the rest of my life. I don't blame anyone. I used to receive so much love from everyone; now I can't look anyone in the eye. I live doing volunteer work in the name of happiness."

JYJ still dominating in Japan
2011-11-21 08:30 pmAccording to JYJ‘s label C-JeS Entertainment, over 80,000 fans were in attendance at the JYJ World Tour show that took place in Ibaraki, Japan on the 15th, further proving that JYJ is still dominating Japan’s music scene.
Their special edition ‘In Heaven‘ album to be released at the end of the month has received more advanced sales than any other album at record stores, and their Jamsil Concert DVD sold out onAmazon Japan immediately after being released.
A representative from Tower Records stated, “We received an explosive amount of pre-orders for JYJ-related CDs and DVDs, as soon as they come in… what’s more amazing is that they have not been able to perform on stage or promote themselves properly for the past two years, yet still accomplish these results.”
Japanese fans are also supporting the members’ individual activities.
DVDs for Park Yoo Chun‘s drama ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘ was the #1 most purchased DVD for an entire month, while ‘Miss Ripley‘ and Kim Jaejoong‘s drama SBS ‘Protect the Boss‘ was also highly anticipated before the dramas aired on TV.
JYJ’s International Marketing representative remarked, “Japanese fans are as loyal to JYJ as they are to their favorite J-POP idols… the members constantly work to grow and develop as artists, and the fans see that“.
