According to JYJ‘s label C-JeS Entertainment, over 80,000 fans were in attendance at the JYJ World Tour show that took place in Ibaraki, Japan on the 15th, further proving that JYJ is still dominating Japan’s music scene.
Their special edition ‘In Heaven‘ album to be released at the end of the month has received more advanced sales than any other album at record stores, and their Jamsil Concert DVD sold out onAmazon Japan immediately after being released.

A representative from Tower Records stated, “We received an explosive amount of pre-orders for JYJ-related CDs and DVDs, as soon as they come in… what’s more amazing is that they have not been able to perform on stage or promote themselves properly for the past two years, yet still accomplish these results.”

Japanese fans are also supporting the members’ individual activities.
DVDs for Park Yoo Chun‘s drama ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘ was the #1 most purchased DVD for an entire month, while ‘Miss Ripley‘ and Kim Jaejoong‘s drama SBS ‘Protect the Boss‘ was also highly anticipated before the dramas aired on TV.
JYJ’s International Marketing representative remarked, “Japanese fans are as loyal to JYJ as they are to their favorite J-POP idols… the members constantly work to grow and develop as artists, and the fans see that“.

"Dominating" might be too much but WHO CARES? They're doing good

AKB48 is dominating, JYJ is successful. There's a difference.

But I'm really happy for them, I hope they continue to be strong in Japan just so Avex can suck on it.

OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD...I USE TO LIVE IN IBARAKI...FOR A YEAR....WAE?????

But, really why was it in Ibaraki of all places??

They decided to do the concert in Ibaraki because the economy and tourism in the area was affected after the earthquake, and having a concert there will help. There were a few articles about how glad shop owners and hoteliers were.

No, it's actually more of they have no choice since they're also blocked in Japan. Known places like Saitama wouldn't take them.

From: [identity profile] shiz-lestat.livejournal.com
Yeah, I know about the blocking but what I meant is that they decided to go to Ibaraki and not Kyoto, Osaka or Sapporo because of those reasons

Like I said, they have no choice. Osaka for sure wouldn't take them as well since Osaka was holding Kpop concerts and such. JYJ needs big venue when they're in Japan.

That's pretty cool. I suppose then that they held the concert in Northern Ibaraki, since that was the area of the prefecture that was designated a disaster area? I'm sure the people there were freaking out cause not much comes to Ibaraki. That's great for them! Putting the natto capital on the map!

Avex does though ~~~~ And they did it pretty damn better than SM.

Even though "dominating" is a bit too much it's great to see they are still strong in Japan

Despise the situation in Japan they can still hold a concert with 80K people…in a park far from Tokyo.
They may not be dominating, but they are doing pretty fine

well, dominating maybe too much even though I support these guys. But I like the part when it mentioned that Japanese fans are loyal :)

/ignore the headline...

Good to know that they boys somehow still able to hold to their fans in Japan with the way avex block them there..

In JYJ fandom, you don't have time to think about buying CDs/DVDs, you want it, you buy it, if you think about it, it's gone...

This is where the "making good music" comes in. Large scale promos or no, if you trust them to make good music you buy them.
