Rookie group B1A4 amazed the public with their level of popularity after it was revealed that tickets to their first Japanese showcase were sold out in just 1 minute!
The boys will be putting on their first show in front of Japanese fans and local media at the ‘B1A4 – Japan Showcase Live 2011′ on December 9th in Tokyo.
As soon as tickets went on sale, a flood of eager fans overwhelmed the site and caused the server to crash. During the second round of sales after the crash, all the seats were sold out almost instantly. Those fans who weren’t able to get their hands on a ticket have been pleading for an extra date, and some have even paid up to 100,000 yen (~$1,300 USD) for one ticket on auction sites.
B1A4 has signed with Pony Canyon, the same Japanese agency as Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk. It’s an unprecedented feat for a rookie group, and with this new development, it proves that they’ve got a lot to offer.
In related news, B1A4 will follow up their “Beautiful Target” promotions with “My Love”, a second track off their mini-album.

A screen cap of After School's profile page contained photos and basic information of After School's current and former members.
Just awhile ago, the screen cap was uploaded online and gained a lot of interest from netizens. Aside from the existing and current members on the said profile page, a folder with the words "Express Top Secret After School New Students SOON!" was also revealed, further catching the attention of the netizens.
According to one fan online, the photo was taken from After School's official new splash page. However, after clicking through some links, they were immediately redirected to the old page with the said announcement already removed.

T-ara‘s Eunjung met with an unfortunate accident on set while filming for her new drama, ‘Queen Insoo‘.
Representatives of Core Contents Media revealed, “On November 14th, Eunjung headed straight for the ‘Queen Insoo’ set after completing her choreography rehearsal.” They continued, “Unfortunately, due to the cold weather and the fast speed of the horse, Eunjung lost her grip on the reins and fell.”
The representatives assured that Eunjung was given painkillers after she was rushed to the hospital. Schedules will be readjusted accordingly after closer examination.

F1RST, a co-ed group which made its debut in August 2010 with "I Like You, You Like Me", will finally be returning to the stage with the release of a new album later this month.
Though initially debuting with eight members, it seems the line-up has changed a bit for the upcoming comeback. The now seven member group, consisting of four male and three female members, just recently revealed they had finished shooting for their comeback music video.

YG Entertainment has just announced that Superstar K2‘s Kim Eunbi is a confirmed member of their new girl group, whom they plan to debut next year.
Several sources told Star News on November 14th that Kim Eunbi has been selected recently to become part of the girl group that will be revealed in the earlier half of next year.
Although she seems like a cute, ordinary high school student, she possesses vocal skills that carried her into the top 6 for ‘Superstar K2′. Unlike her fellow ‘Superstar K2′ contestants like Huh Gak, Jang Jae In, Kim Ji Su, and John Park, Eunbi kept her activities under the radar, leaving fans in a state of curiosity over her career.
After fine-tuning her skills with the agency, she was recognized for her ability and potential – earning her a spot as a member of this new girl group.
Sources within the music industry expect that this new girl group will have more than 7 members. Interest and expectations are rising high, thanks to YG’s spectacular success with 2NE1.

KARA, along with rock group CN Blue, has received Gold Record accreditation for their most recent Japanese releases.
On October 19, KARA released their fifth Japanese single titled, “Winter Magic.” Since its release it has been certified as a “Gold Album for Foreign Music” according to the Japanese Record Association.

The sultry ladies of RaNia are readying for their comeback, and to build up the buzz, they’ve unveiled a teaser photo of member Xia for their new album. Coincidentally, Xia’s birthday is November 15th so the image was posted along with the tweet: “TIME TO ROCK DA SHOW” Xia(시아) Happy Birthday!!” The girls are teaming up with Brave Brothers for their comeback and the new mini album is slated to drop on November 17th. Netizens who participated in the voting allege that "it seems there is a system that automatically increases Huh Gak's votes by two or three every time you vote for another nominee".
Other comments left by netizens go along the line of, "Huh Gak gained popularity through Mnet's 'Super Star K2' and has a lot of mass appeal, so it's possible to conclude that those votes are legitimate. However most people wouldn't go [to the website] to vote everyday and besides, it's hard to understand how fandoms that are three times the size of his have recorded lesser votes."
A representative from Mnet responded to the ballooning allegations saying, "That is something that absolutely will not happen. It's nonsense. Does it make sense that the system is rigged? It is completely untrue. The voting system in place is very fair."
The MAMAs will be held on November 29th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium at 7pm.

The audience is responding well to the movie "You Pet".
The statistics show that "You Pet" audiences are made up of 81% female.
Kim Ha-neul in this movie is a woman who has everything from looks and skills but terrible at people relationships.
On top of that, a lovable man comes in a lives with her as a pet, stimulating women's expectations and giving them a sight to see is one way to explain this.
This fact can also be seen through the ticket rates.
The age ranking comes as 20s, 30s then 10s and Lotte Cinema shows 81% women, Yes 24 and CGV show 77.1% and 74.48% respectively.
"You Pet" is a romantic comedy that offers sweetness all the way and it seems as though it will have audiences pouring into cinemas for a while.
Meanwhile, "You Pet" is about owner Kim Ha-neul and pet Jang Geun-seok living under the same roof and growing on their love.
