YG reveals Superstar K2′s Kim Eunbi is a member of its new girl group

YG Entertainment has just announced that Superstar K2‘s Kim Eunbi is a confirmed member of their new girl group, whom they plan to debut next year.

Several sources told Star News on November 14th that Kim Eunbi has been selected recently to become part of the girl group that will be revealed in the earlier half of next year.

Although she seems like a cute, ordinary high school student, she possesses vocal skills that carried her into the top 6 for ‘Superstar K2′. Unlike her fellow ‘Superstar K2′ contestants like Huh Gak, Jang Jae In, Kim Ji Su, and John Park, Eunbi kept her activities under the radar, leaving fans in a state of curiosity over her career.

After fine-tuning her skills with the agency, she was recognized for her ability and potential – earning her a spot as a member of this new girl group.

Sources within the music industry expect that this new girl group will have more than 7 members. Interest and expectations are rising high, thanks to YG’s spectacular success with 2NE1.

i like her voice, but it's not perfect as shown in the second clip. she looks like a little kid to me. the bangs...i'm not a fan lol, she looks better with plain black hair.

she's an amateur right? with more practice and voice lessons her voice will become even better. I think for the second video it doesn't sound as good because she isn't singing in her first language.

in that photo, she looks older than she really is. but during her time in superstar k, she looked much younger. and at times looked like a kid.

but i think she really can't debut as a solo performer. voice isn't powerful enough to make her stand out amongst the idol groups and other solo performers.

I don't think she sounds that good to be honest. She only sounded decent for about 30 seconds in one solitary clip I found on youtube. I just don't see that she's debut-ready in any of what I've seen.

my first, and mean, thought was "YG really doesn't choose them because of good looks". but then i noticed she is actually qt.

i'm scared of this man. he said once he wanted to make soshi-like group, but YG and cuteness doesn't match. plus i'm evil and i hope that this group will have a more difficult path than 2NE1 debut wise, because as much i love the company i feel like they really need to drink some humble juice.
