On October 27th, Yoon Mirae released her Korean music video for her digital single "Get It In," which featured her husband Tiger JK and Jungin. On October 28th, The Creators Project, who were responsible for producing the music video and directed by Lumpens, released the English version of the music video via their YouTube channel.

Recently, Yoon Mirae's agency revealed the possibility of the South Korea Queen of R&B/hip-hop making her debut in America next year, as she has received interest from agencies there.

The music video is similar to its Korean counterpart, with the video ending with a battle against her husband, Tiger JK. However, instead of Tiger JK and Jungin featuring in the song, Smokey Robotic takes over as the featured rapper.

The oblong helium balloon rose into an ink-colored sky Saturday, released by a dozen hands just south of one of the world’s most fortified borders, its precious cargo bound for North Korea.

Yet unlike countless balloon launches that shower the north with pamphlets and political screeds criticizing Kim Jong-il’s secretive regime, this one carried a different kind of payload: socks.

In all, hundreds of pairs of foot coverings were lifted heavenward by 10 balloons: little pink baby footies and large black and blue ones for growing children and adults -– all headed for impoverished residents facing another winter.

The socks also carried a message: Hang on for dear life.

At merely 25, South Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son strikes one with her confidence and poise after her enthralling performances earned her the second prize at the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition in June.

"Actually I wasn't really thinking about going to any competitions after the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition...But it came out nicely and I'm happy about it," Son said, recalling the competition in 2009 where she came in second. Early next month, Son will return for a recital in Tokyo.

I enjoyed every performance there. I didn't feel like it was a competition )

The National Assembly passed a revised bill on sexual crimes, the “Dogani Law,” at a plenary session, Friday, to allow heavier punishments for offenders abusing children under 13 and the disabled.

The passage comes amid public anger after the film “Dogani,” called “The Crucible” in English, based on a true story of sexual assaults by teachers on deaf students at a school in 2005, shed new light on the case.

According to the new law, the statute of limitations for sexual crimes targeting children under 13 and the disabled will be scrapped.

K-Pop Sensations Usher In New Era At MSG

Their name is Girls Generation. The nine-member group from South Korea was one of seven acts brought to New York by SM Entertainment who packed the arena at Madison Square Garden. Their energy, youthful beauty and catchy tunes shot them up the charts in Asia. Now they've set their sights on the U.S. Their first English single called "The Boys" was released just last week but will it make Girls Generation a household name.

"Hopefully it will. We worked with Teddy Riley for the single. And he was very comforting and I think the result came out really well," said Girls Generation member Jessica.

The single is one thing, but is America ready for nine girls in one group?

"Definitely looking forward to U.S. fans liking Girls Generation because there's a variety of personalities and people so I think you can take your choice," said Girls Generation member Tiffany.

There's no shortage of choice when it comes to the growing number of so called K-Pop groups. Though there are more than a million Asians in New York and 14 million across the country their goal is to appeal to the broader U.S market -- something made easier by the power of the Internet.

"Five years ago it would be hard to imagine that people in Europe or all over the world would be listening to K-Pop," said Key of SHINee.

And five years from now we might be wondering what took so long in the first place.
