So happy for Woohyun! I had no idea Hongki was back on the show though! It was a totally surprise seeing him there. I think it has a lot of meaning, or to me anyway, that Woohyun won over Hongki who has won the show before. I love Hongki (obviously not enough to know he was back on IS2 LOL) but....I was soo with Woohyun's side.
Plus Woohyun's perf was soo good! I knew if he added dancing to his performances he'd win! LOL
Ooh I see...yeah I love how the rest of fti almost always comes to play with him. It is really awesome. And I love Hongki's voice. He has such a great voice.
The hosts really seem to like woohyun! That makes really proud of him to see he's so well liked! Haha. They were totally hoping he's win. It was so cute!
OMG, Woohyun, I love you so much. :) FTI was amazing as always. That's what I call real music. Hongki's voice still one of the best voices in the kpop world. And nowadays I always find him so pretty, he drives me crazy. :D
minkyung shouldve just sung the first part of the song in her normal voice instead of that weird man voice. it almost sounded off until she was belting the chorus at the end then it matched the song n it sounded like her normal voice
Woohyun's reaction was like a mixture between happiness and relief. It may not be like winning a show or an award, but I think this small win was as important to Woohyun as the dance battle win probably was to Dongwoo and Hoya. It's who they are.
I really enjoyed his performance. I liked the past performance a great deal as well, but they always felt like something was lacking. I realize now it's because I'm not really used to seeing Woohyun not being his greasy self and dancing up a storm like the sleeping member of the main dancer line that he is. I loved how he worked bits of their signature moves into the song and how it worked.
I feel like Woohyun finally truly showed what he's capable of in this performance. I'm not saying his singing was lacking in other performances but he just looked so in control of the stage and full of confidence which gave his performance an edge I felt he'd been missing up till now. I wonder what made the difference...maybe he had more fun with it because of the dancing (even though that seems like harder work) or maybe he just felt more determined, I don't know but whatever brought out the star in him better keep on coming ^^
Finally made my way through the other performances and it's no surprise that ALi blew me away once again. I love her passion and ability to truly enter into the song so much. She is amazing!!! She is fast becoming one of my all time favourite singers for her voice, sensitivity, stage presence and how her whole being seems to become part of the song!
Huh Gak's performance really surprised me tbh. It was so cute how Lim Jeong Hee and Woohyun were joining in on the dance backstage and I was enjoying his performance but then he brought out the moves and really got going with the song as it got nearer to the end and I found myself really loving it.
Speaking of Lim Jeong Hee I got the feeling there's a real rock chick in her that's clawing her way out ;o) She was loving every minute of that performance and it made it fantastic.
Which leads me on to FT Island totally rocking the stage once again! It was sooooo good to have them back. I think they need to clear some space in their schedule so they can be a permanent feature because I feel like they have a brilliant way of interpreting a song and making it their own. The boys were all shining and Hongki proved himself once again to be a truly fabulous vocalist!
