Ever since Shin Sekyung and Jonghyun were revealed to be dating, nothing she does seems to sit right with fans. First she was forced to shut down her Cyworld, and then she ran away from her own signing session.

Now fans are angry at her once again for not attending either of SHINee's concerts. SM Entertainment has confirmed that she was at neither the concert on the 1st nor the concert on the 2nd. She is assumed to be busy because she in in the middle of filming a movie.

However, fans didn't understand why she couldn't take out a few hours one day to watch her boyfriend's concert. Many fans were upset and said, "We wanted someone who would take care of Jonghyun and support him, but she doesn't seem to be doing either."

Kara's Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara and Jiyoung were on the show "General Public Talk Show Hello" that aired on the 27th.

On the show, Gyuri confessed that she gets jealous of people who can do aegyo, because she can't do any of it in public because she's too conscious of her goddess image. She complained that Seungyeon had no aegyo at home, but she was so good at it on air.

To prove herself, Seungyeon showed off an aegyo, and the male members of the audience could not help their cheers. The MCs asked Gyuri to copy the aegyo, and the cheers were even louder for Gyuri's shy aegyo.

However, Jiyoung KO'ed both of her members when she showed her aegyo off. She had already given the other four members nicknames, and then showed off her aegyo in steps. One of the MCs noticed that the audience members went crazier with each step.

YG fandom torn apart because of Yang Hyun-Suk's favoritism for 2NE1?

YG Entertainment's fandom has shown an alarming increase of "infighting," that is, fans fighting against fans.

This is due to the rising conflict between Big Bang fans and 2NE1 fans. Big Bang fans, are said to be the head of conflict, by saying that YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun-Suk has "2NE1 favoritism." There was mounting frustration against YGE when they declared that no YG Family member would be attending the December 30 "KBS Gayo Daejun," by declaring a boycott. Because of this, rumors that Big Bang sub-unit composed of G-Dragon and TOP, who are doing their promotional activities for their "GTOP" album, may not be appearing in KBS2 "Music Bank," because of the situation.

Big Bang fans have posted their discontent on various entertainment-related bulletin boards, saying things like, "Last year, the most active group from YG is 2NE1, and they went to all music programs. But now because of their boycott against the KBS Gayo Daejun, G-Dragon and TOP's promotions might suffer damages! Why is Yang Hyun-Suk, the president of YG Entertainment, showing favoritism towards 2NE1, last 2010?" expressing their dissatisfaction.

Conscious of the backlash against their December 30 boycott, YG CEO Yang Hyun-Suk made a statement through their blog, "YG's reason on refraining artists from TV appearances." In this article, it was stated, "The reason behind why YG reduces TV appearances is because of our concern for our artists. Especially for 2NE1, if they are set to appear in a show, they have to start early in the morning, at two o'clock, just to get their hair and make-up ready, and then have to rush to the studio for rehearsals, causing them to have little sleep. And if they have other schedules the night or the day before, then it gets more tiring," he said.

But this article brought more dissatisfaction for Big Bang fans. Fans said, "So it's because 2NE1 needs elaborate hair and make-up. So because of that, Big Bang's 2 members' activities will become endangered," they retorted.

Big Bang rose to popularity because of hits like "Lies," and "Last Goodbye," joining the ranks of other popular YG artists like Se7en and Gummy.

Rain successfully completes “ADIEU! 2010 with RAIN” + new album will have a "retro style".

Singer Rain made an impressive end to his year through his concert, “ADIEU! 2010 with RAIN,” on December 31st.

The three hour long concert brought in 7,500 fans to see hit track performances by Rain.  Starting off with “I’m Coming,” Rain went on to perform “You,” “Even a Day,” “Ways to Avoid the Sun,” “I Do,” “Hip Song,” “The Song That’ll Hold You Back,” “Rainism,” and others for a total of 20 songs.

He stated, “Today is the last day of 2010.  I’m so happy today because so many people came to attend my concert.  It’s because of all of you that I’m able to perform and feel joy like this.” Rain also revealed a bit about his upcoming album, stating,  “It will be a retro style.”

Alongside stunning performances of “ONE,” which included a chair dance, “Touch Ya,” and a rendition of his mentor Park Jin Young’s “She Was Pretty,” Rain attempted to get up close with his fans every chance he got. The audience was seated in an ‘H’ arrangement, and Rain made sure to run to every corner of the concert hall in order to grab as many of their hands as he could.

Fans also had surprise events waiting for them as well. Rain called up one special couple and gave the boyfriend an opportunity to propose. After the success of the proposal, Rain commented towards the man, “Now you have to buy all of my CDs or movies!”

He later called up another female audience member and presented her with a romantic serenade of “My Girl,” much to the jealousy of the remaining audience.

Many foreigers could also be seen in the audience, with people from Japan and even Europe attending in order to show their support for the ‘world star.’

MBLAQ fans relax, there will be no JYP in MBLAQ tracks

Ever since J. Tune Entertainment declared that they would be merging with JYP Entertainment, MBLAQ fans have been raising questions over the fate of the group.

MBLAQ’s agency, J. Tune Camp, spoke with Newsen on January 3rd and revealed, “J. Tune Camp and J. Tune Entertainment are separate corporate bodies. We would like to announce that the merge between the two companies has nothing to do with us.”

The company also cleared up the relationship between Rain and MBLAQ by stating, “Rain is just a producer that participates in MBLAQ’s album production. They are of a mentor and student relationship, but we would like to make it clear that MBLAQ is not a group under Rain’s company.”

Regarding the merge between J. Tune and JYPE, the representatives concluded, “They have no legal relation to MBLAQ and MBLAQ will not be seen as a part of the JYP label.”

Cube Entertainment, home to artists like B2ST, 4minute, and G.NA, made an official announcement on January 3rd revealing their official plans for the year.
CEO Hong Seung Sung wrote on the agency’s official homepage:

“G.NA will be releasing a new album in January.  She’s currently in the final preparation stages and will be returning with a variety of tracks that will surely receive the success that “I’ll Back Off So You Can Live“ achieved.”
“4minute will be releasing a new album in February as well.  The members are currently working hard to create high quality music fitting for the high expectations. Their new start for the new year will be unveiled in February.”
“B2ST will be resting for a brief period after completing their fourth album promotions, and will move onto a new challenge.  They’ve received much attention since their achievements at their first Japanese showcase, and will be focusing on their Japanese debut for the first half of this year.  Their Japanese promotions will become a huge turning point for the group’s future activities.”
Their Japanese activities do not mean that they will not be promoting in Korea as well.  The sons and daughters of Cube are precious jewels that are too big for the limited stage in Korea.  Cube will be continuing to promote B2ST, 4minute, and G.NA all over Asia with powerful content, as that is our priority.”

Super Junior Blessed With Godly Voices To Have A Concert In Korea

Super Junior’s ballad unit, Super Junior-K.R.Y will be holding their first Korean concert, “SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y THE 1ST CONCERT,” for three days from February 11th through the 13th.

Consisting of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung, Super Junior-K.R.Y was the first ballad sub-unit for the group. They’ve also featured in a variety of OST albums.

SM Entertainment officials revealed, “Super Junior-K.R.Y completed concerts in Japan and Taiwan last year. A lot of Korean fans have been wanting to see their concert, and so we’ve decided to listen to those requests. We’re anticipating a hot response.”

Tickets will go on sale starting January 13th through G-Market.

T-ara’s Eunjung Wows Netizens with her Acting

Despite T-ara debuting in 2009, Eunjung has been around much longer as a child actress. She acted in “Land” in 2004 and has been cast in various other gigs as minor roles like in TVXQ‘s “Dating on Earth” and even played the ghostly antagonist in the first “Death Bell” movie with Nam Gyuri and Kim Bum. Her first major acting role was for "Coffee House" last year and now, "Dream High" is her second major acting role.

Dream High just aired its first episode today. In this drama, she plays Yoon Baek Hee, an aspiring singer who trains with miss A maknae Suzy‘s character, Hyemi. Eunjung's character looks up to Hyemi at first before becoming rivals.

Viewers expressed many compliments for Eunjung, saying that “her acting is the best out of the idols, and has become better” along with “Eunjung’s expressions are changing.”

KARA’s limited edition poster auctioned in Japan for $734 USD

KARA’s limited edition poster has been auctioned on a Japanese auction site for 60,000 YEN (824,688 WON / $734 USD).

The poster was first released to 50 special event winners that bought KARA’s first official Japanese album, “Girl’s Talk,” on November 24th. The poster was especially coveted since it contained individual autographs from each member.

Additionally, the limited edition of their debut single, “Mister,” which features a DVD as well as an album, is also being auctioned for 39,800 YEN ($486.90 USD).

The group has been enjoying immense popularity in Japan lately, as they’ve recently ranked in 6th place for “The Rookies That Shined in 2010.” Their album, “Girl’s Talk”, also passed 200,000 in sales within a month of its release.

SHINee’s Japanese website crashes moments after opening

SHINee has shown their explosive popularity in Japan once more through the opening of their official Japanese website.

On January 4th, Sanspo reported, “Moments after the opening of SHINee’s official site, the site crashed due to the mass influx of traffic.”

SHINee previously performed for a 24,000 member audience during their first Japanese concert last month, and had announced that they’d be opening their official website.

The site had opened at 8PM, and within the hour, over 20,000 fans rushed to take a look, crashing the server and member registration system for two days.

Sanspo continued, “There wasn’t any other notification regarding the site’s official opening, so this is quite the exceptional feat for the group. After the server was recovered and an official announcement was made, over 100,000 page views have been recorded within a week. SHINee has been earning much popularity lately, as exemplified by the 100,000 members that joined the month-long ticket event for their Yoyogi Live concert.”

SHINee will be making their official Japanese debut this March.

Wonder Girls want babies with Jay Chou

Mandopop’s prince Jay Chou is so popular that even one of the hottest girl groups in South Korea finds it hard to resist his charm.

In the past decade, he was said to have romanced a string of gorgeous babes in the showbiz - among them Jolin Tsai, S.H.E’s Hebe and Patty Hou.

Chou, 31, has now caught the eye of the Wonder Girls, the popular girl group who took the music scene by storm with their ubiquitous hit Nobody.

Jeffery Huang and Nicky Lee of Taiwanese hip hop group Machi graced Chou’s show Mr. J Channel on CtiTV recently.

Huang, 38, claimed that most of the members of the Wonder Girls fantasize about Chou and that they wanted to have babies with the Mandopop icon.

"I have many friends in Korea. Four out of the five members of Wonder Girls want to have ‘wonder babies’ with Jay," he said.

A delighted Chou quipped: "Then you should bring me to Korea next time."

2AM, who just held a succesful concert not long ago, appeared as guest stars on the Special New Year edition of MBC comedy show "First Time In My Life".

In one of the corner in "First Time In My Life" called "Let's Try To Be Honest" each of the members revealed their honest feelings. Chang Min, who always says that Kara's Ji Young is his ideal type, revealed that he was waiting for Ji Young to graduate.

And Seul Ong, who has the body envied by health trainers, revealed that he once tried eating 100 eggs to work on his chest, surprising everybody and leaving everybody envious.

Jo Kwon revealed that he shook his pelvis to buy a house and the studio burst into laughter. Jin Woon also revealed that he hated girls who did not wear short skirts and everybody cheered.

2AM did not just revealed their honest thoughts, but Jo Kwon and Chang Min also surprisingly transformed into kindergarten students. All of that can be seen in "First Time In My Life" aired on January 5.
