On the latest episode of Star Golden Bell, MC Ji Suk Jin asked Kara's Goo Hara what words had motivated her during her debut.

Goo Hara said "When Jiyoung and I joined Kara as new members, I heard someone say 'Those two are going to make it? There are so many others that are better, but those two are going to make it?'. I wanted to cry but managed to keep it in."

She continued "I wanted to become successful and then find this person to say to them 'Look at how big I have become'."

The other MCs pressed her to reveal the identity of this person. Goo Hara only responded "It was a senior singer, and that's what made it even more painful."

The three members of TVXQ accused of fraud in China!

Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Junsu, the three members of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki who took legal actions against SM Entertainment, have been sued for fraud in China along with Chinese subsidiary of the controversial cosmetics company CreBeau.

The plaintiff is a firm which is the distributor of CreBeau products in the Shanghai, Jiang Su and Sanxi region. A representative of the plaintiff stated:

"We were told by CreBeau that the three members were the board members of CreBeau, so we naturally believed that they will partake in promotions, which is the reason why we invested in this business. However, the three members did not appear on product announcement in Shanghai last July, resulting in fans complaining to us and returning the products. The overall loss that we suffered amount up to 1 million Yuan ($150,000). Yoochun and Junsu apologized to us regarding the matter but this fraud left us with too much damage, so we sent CreBeau a notice on October 22nd telling them to pay for the damage caused by their misrepresentation. However, we did not receive an answer and CreBeau closed their office in Beijing, so we had no choice but to sue them."

To this claim, CreBeau answered:

"We are analyzing this matter right now but it appears that they are making unreasonable claims. We have warned them about overly promoting the involvement of TVXQ members and it appears that they are suing them because we have stopped our ties with them due to various reasons. They say that we closed our office but in fact it just moved to another district of Beijing. Other distributors are doing fine in China."

BEAST to perform Big Bang's "Lies!"

A representative added, "On the night of MAMA, we heard Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang will be performing on stage as well. (Jang) Hyun Seung said, 'After we perform to Big Bang's song, I want to receive an evaluation from the hyungs.'"

Police Believe Daul Kim Committed Suicide

More details have emerged surrounding 20-year-old South Korean model Daul Kim, who was found dead yesterday. Kim's boyfriend, who declined to be named in the press, found her hanged in her Paris apartment and alerted police. Authorities are operating under the hypothesis that she committed suicide. Kim's agent tells the AP her mother is arriving in Paris today.

Bloggers in South Korea are speculating she felt the pressures of the fashion industry. On October 30, Kim wrote on her blog she was "mad depressed and overworked." On November 5, she wrote in another entry, "the more i gain the more lonely it is ... i know i'm like a ghost i have nothing but myself." In her last entry, on November 18, she posted a track by Jim Rivers, "I Go Deep," with the headline "say hi to forever."

5-member girlgroup f(x) have an interview recently with T-news and member Amber talks about her boyish style in the group.

Amber talked about how when she met the other members for the first time and was mistaken as a guy, “I’m not surprised by the members’ reaction, thinking that I’m a guy.”

“I enjoyed the boyish style since I was young. When I go shopping with my mother, I even go the menswear section.”

And when asked what it is like to wear menswear during promotional activities, different from the other members, Amber said, “When I was young, I wear skirts too, but I thought pants are more comfortable. And because my parents were understanding in that sense, I can make this style now.”

SNSD’s first solo concert sold out in three minutes

Girl group Girls' Generation's concert tickets were sold out in a mere 3 minutes of its release.

Girls' Generation will hold their first solo concert on December 19th at 7PM at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in the Fencing arena. On the 19th at 8 o'clock, the tickets were open for buying through Gmarket. Being their first live concert since their debut, the fans were reluctant enough to buy all the tickets within 3 minutes, setting a new record.

The people who weren't able to buy a ticket expressed their sorrows by saying "Only late by a few seconds but it displays 'Sold Out'" "I guess I have to get a fake ticket..."

Girls' Generation will kick off their performance on December 19th and 20th in Seoul, and their tour will spread to Shanghai, Bangkok etc. Girls' Generation will perform hit songs 'Gee' and 'Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)' and their new and dazzling performances are being anticipated.

Complete with a dance studio, rehearsal stage and a recording space, the JYP Entertainment office in midtown Manhattan -- the only Asian record label currently open in the U.S., according to founder JY Park -- feels more like an artist's training camp than a corporate space. But for Korean pop band The Wonder Girls, it's their home -- literally.

For the past few months, the quintet -- comprised of Sunye, Ye-eun, Sohee, Sunmi and Yubin -- has made a home of the top two floors of the building, which is split up into separate dormitories. Chosen through an audition process and placed in the JYP Academy two years ago, the girls have been honing their skills in singing, dancing and acting as well as mastering several languages in preparation of their as-yet-untitled English-language album -- a twelve track set with six of the songs being English versions of their Korean hits, and the rest original English material.

‘Towel guy’ Jung YoungHwa busks in bittersweet happiness for receiving many lovecalls from the broadcast world.

It all started with Jung YoungHwa’s appearance in SBS ongoing hit drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ where he rose to instant stardom even though he is a newcomer. In the show, he was nicknamed the ‘towel guy’ and ‘2nd JiHoo seonbae’ for his gentle and caring character Kang ShinWoo, which has received great love from TV viewers.

His company F&B Music said, “It seems many people love Jung YoungHwa’s image. Even though the drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ is still ongoing, he has receiving lovecalls for other drama productions. And we are also not sure if he will be doing another drama next year since CNBLUE is set to promote next year.”


One drama producer said, “His fresh image together with his safe acting, he gives off this divine feel as a newcome actor. Much anticipation for him since right now we are have a shortage of male actors.”
