Visually impaired SuperStar K singer Kim Gook Hwan receives bashings from netizens after debut

‘SuperStar K’ visually impaired singer Kim Gook Hwan is off to a strong start with his singer debut.

He revealed his 1st album title song ‘Can’t See’ on 17th November and the song has been rising up positions fast on various music sites like Melon, Mnet and Bugs.

But according to Kim Gook Hwan’s company, “Some netizens have posted up mean comments on the internet, and we are worried that Kim Gook Hwan may feel hurt about it.”

Kim Gook Hwan’s debut album title song ‘Can’t See’ is produced by producer-composer 2soo for SuperStar K. It has been known that during the recording of the song, Kim Gook Hwan got too emotional that he was crying and the recording has to be delayed for 2 hours.

Overseas fans surprise Lee Junki with good-luck cranes

This is sweet (and yay for overseas fans, yet again): in anticipation of Hero’s broadcast premiere tomorrow, overseas fans have shown their support for lead actor Lee Junki in the form of 30,000 origami cranes.

The fan gifts arrived on November 17 at Hero’s Seoul filming location in a truckload containing fifteen boxes. Lee Junki had been taking a brief break from filming at the time of arrival, and hearing that they’d come from his overseas fans, he opened the boxes himself to confirm the sight.

Lee said, “I was so surprised and thankful. I want to hang them all up at home. The fans act without being bound to nationality and it seems like they have the ability to always surprise me. This time, I received a gift I couldn’t have even imagined receiving. Thinking of how long it must have taken them to fold all of this makes me even more moved.”

Alexander has some trouble with H1N1

News have came late that 7-member UKiss member Alexander has contracted the swine flu back in October.

Before the group’s comeback this month, they went to Thailand for promotions in late-October. And back then, Alexander was down with high fever, and was worried to have contracted the flu.

And according to UKiss‘ company on 19th November, “Alexander has felt unwell in Korea and when we reached Thailand, he was having high fever and cough. We have him sent to the hospital and gave him Tamiflu, which we have prepared just in case it is needed.”


Alexander has taken Tamiflu and rested. And he recovered on the last day of their promotions and resumed schedule with the group.

UKiss’ company also said, “When we returned to Korea, we were still worried. So we sent him for examination at the hospital. Luckily there is nothing wrong with his health.”

Meanwhile, UKiss’ ’strong man dance’ in their comeback song ‘Man Man Ha Ni’ has been gaining popularity since their comeback.

JaeChunSu to attend the MAMA’s!

Wow! The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), just may not be a complete failure anymore.

On the 19th, the three TVXQ members Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and Youngwoong JaeJoong have decided to attend the MAMA's which will be held on November 21st.

An Mnet representative stated to Starnews:

"Youngwoong JaeJoong, Xiah Junsu and Micky Yoochun will attend the MAMA's and will be able to greet their fans after being away for a long time."

In addition they stated:

"However, we are not sure yet whether the 3 members will perform or just greet the fans on stage as of now."

Well, it's better than nothing right? Finally some good news for TVXQ fans and for the MAMA's.

20-Year-Old Model Daul Kim Is Dead


Model Daul Kim was found dead in Paris this morning, her agents at Next confirm. "She was a top model and a great friend to all of us at Next. Please respect her family’s privacy at this time of sadness. We will all miss her very much," they said in a statement. The cause of death remains unknown at this time but a source tells the Cut she committed suicide. She will be missed.

2PM Junsu’s best friend, Jung JinWoo, joins M To M for singer debut

After issues with their contracts in their previous entertainment company, the 3 membered male group M to M returned with a new member named Jung JinWoo. He has been gathering much interest after being revealed to be the best friend of JunSu of 2PM.

With the reveal of Jung JinWoo’s face with the release of their digital single, many have been wondering if he’s the person JunSu introduced on ‘Introducing A Star’s Friend.’ Pop Up Entertainment confirmed it.

M to M’s company went on to say “JunSu and Jung JinWoo are both from Daegu and grew up together as best friends. He’s received a lot of help from JunSu, who debuted first.”

In the show, the two sang Lee EunMi’s ‘I Have A Significant Other’ through an R&B version. After the show aired, their practice videos were spread throughout the internet, even going up as the ‘Best Video’ and receiving much interest.

Korean Pop singing sensation Rain is making a name for himself in the movie biz. The talented performer had a small part in the Wachowski Brothers film Speed Racer and it was then that they knew he had to be the star of their next project, Ninja Assassin. Rain trained for months and followed a strict eating plan to become fit and agile to perform pretty well all of the stunts and martial artistry you will see in Ninja Assassin. Tributes Bonnie Laufer had the chance to talk to Rain during a promotional stop in Toronto about working on this non stop action filled film, his strict discipline while preparing for it and how his music career still fits into the picture.

Lee YoungWoo to be male leading character for 2NE1’s musical performance on MAMA

Actor Lee YoungWoo of SBS drama ‘Style’ will be appear on stage with 2NE1 Sandara Park on stage for her solo single ‘Kiss’ on MAMA.

Coming 21st November on for Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), Lee YoungWoo will be the male leading character for 2NE1’s musical performance.

And for 2NE1’s performance, they will also be rearranging their title song to have Park Bom’s and Sandara Park’s solo songs as well as CL and Gong MinJi’s duet single included as part of the musical. Lee YoungWoo will play each of the 4 members’ lover, with the concept of ‘bad guy’.

The choreography to the performance is contributed by adjunct professor Hong SaeJung of KyungHee university.

GDragon sends his condolences to friend, top model, Daul Kim after she was found dead in Paris today.

He wrote on his me2day on 20th November saying, “My condolences to Miss Kim Daul. Daul ah, please rest in peace. I’ll pray for you Goodbye..”
The 2 are known to be friends, and GDragon also visited her when he went on his Europe trip in May.
