Krystal revealed on her me2day on 14th October photos taken together with f(x) Sulli, KARA Kang Ji Yeong and 4Minute Kwon SoHyun. She wrote, “We are the 94 line! These are photos taken during Dream Concert.”
f(x) participated at Dream Concert on 10th October in Seoul World Cup Stadium together with other groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, KARA, 2NE1, T-ara and 4Minute etc. f(x) sang their debut song ‘LA chA tA’ and also the CM song ‘Chocolate Love’ during the concert.

Kim Je-dong to Host Talk Show at MBC

TV presenter Kim Je-dong, dismissed Saturday from KBS weekend primetime show "Star Golden Bell," has been picked as the host for a new talk show at MBC TV, according to MBC Tuesday.

In the new talk show "Oh My Tent," Kim and guests to the program will talk about life and various other topics in a reality show format. They will travel around the country, pitching a tent, and sleeping and eating together.

Girl Groups' Competition, businesses collide with rival CFs 'Dream Team VS Soshi f(x)'

A CF rival compeition is happening. The overflowing girl groups in the Korean music industry will now make their mark in the CF industry. Dream Team, members from KARA, Brown Eyed Girls', 4minute, and Afterschool, and SNSD-F(X) will rival against each other in CFs. Especially the CF companies which are LG and Samsung, have been rivals since the beginning so this confrontation will be especially interesting.

Afterschool's UEE, BEG's Gain, KARA's Han Seungyeon, and 4minute's Hyuna have been named the super group that released their title song 'Tomorrow', which the music video was released on the 12th of October.

Samsung's campaign used Hyuna, Seungyeon, Gain, and UEE to give hope and dreams to the young people and also, through the music video, they had prepared a concert for the young people to convey the message that they should be excited for tomorrow. Also in the music video, the Dream Team came down from the sky in large container ships where they came out from. This particular music video had piqued interest and speculation amongst netizens.

An official of the campaign website for Dream Team had said, "the site's visitors are expanding a lot. Not only are the music video and song in the website but screensavers, pictures, wallpapers etc. where visitors may download items."

The campaign is has the appearance of weakness in the lead actor, Lee Dong-Gun and the music video shows the appearances and information of the story of 'Tomrorow'. 'Tomorrow' campaign plans to give hopes and dreams to young people and Samsung campaign will progress from October 12 to December 13.

'SM sisters 'SNSD' and 'F(X)' have had the new chocolate phone songs released on the 10th of October. The Chocolate Love gives the nation's girl group, SNSD, a fascinating pure image whereas it gives F(X) a trendy and sexy side. The two groups' different charms have caught the attention of the public. On October 15th in Club Volume, Itaewon, Seoul, SNSD and F(X) will have a showcase for the Chocolate Phone. There will only be 100 visitors for this special event and in the cyon website for LG Electronics, visitors may apply for the showcase visit.

LG Electronics Vice President, Jo Sung-Ha stated, "The new Chocolate Phone Black Label series has marvelous designs and technology that can be known as LG's pride. Also there are many expectations for the 'Chocolate Love' by SNSD and F(X) to surpass that of Big Bang and 2NE1's 'Lollipop'.

2NE1 reveals that they have been forbidden to have a boyfriend in the next 5 years, and how they had used their aegyo (acting cute) to request for the period to be cut down to 3 years.

2NE1 Sandara Park talks about the opportunity she was given to be a singer.

For the 2nd episode of Strong Heart aired on SBS on 13th October, Sandara Park said, “I came down to Korea from the Philippines and Yang HyunSeok who trains singers in Hiphop music told me, ‘You cannot be a singer’.”

She added, “So he persuaded me to do acting. And then when they decided to form a new girlgroup, I was anticipating but I was not given any opportunities to practise.”

Brian, “HwanHee and I grew distant, and I thought of committing suicide”

Singer Brian Joo has revealed that he once had the idea of committing suicide.

On SBS Strong Heart aired on 13th October, Brian was one of the guest appearances and he talked about how other Fly To The Sky member HwanHee and his relationship became distant, and he had felt lonely that he wished to give up on music and thought of committing suicide.

Brian revealed, “It was true that my relationship with Hwanhee became bad. For our last 8th album, we did promotions without seeing each other’s faces.”

“Because of some of the misunderstanding from the things said by people around us, we grew distant. I even sent text messages to HwanHee saying ‘You better be careful with the things you say’. As time passes, even though I thought any misunderstanding between us will smooth out, it was during the time when our relationship became more stranded.”

He then continued, “But with the opportunity given on SBS ‘Close Note’, we got the chance to recall all the fun memories we had, and I said, ‘Don’t care about others, let’s just believe each other’, we got back on good terms in tears.”

With that Brian did a video message to HwanHee on the show, “I’m sorry for making things tiring for you. I will protect you always. I love you.”

B2ST is now BEAST!

Cube Entertainment's upcoming boy idol group B2ST, has revealed a name change from B2ST to BEAST!

A source stated, "Through MTV B2ST, the group revealed themselves as B2ST. After the debut, the group will keep growing up as a better group, being known as BEAST."

B2ST BEAST's first mini-album, titled BEAST IS THE B2ST (talk about confusing), contains 5 tracks, with the title-song "Bad Girl." The producers are Lee Sang Ho and Shin Sa Dong Tiger (Lee Ho Yang), who in the past have composed 4minute's "Hot Issue" and "MUZIK,"

The title-song "Bad Girl" will showcase strong beats and an addictive melody, which will fit the performances BEAST will have.

They will be having a showcase on the 15th, in Seoul's Choongmo District, through MTV.

Find It! Green Gold Ending?

It's not official yet but it looks like another variety show is ending up in the dustbin.

It was only last month on 14th September, where the new SBS variety program titled Find it! Green Gold was announced to raise environmental awareness, and it included four male MCs in the form of Kim Hyung Joon (SS501), Shindong (Super Junior), Brian (FTTS) and Jo Kwon (2AM).

But with just a few days short of it's one month anniversary, Brian has announced through his MySpace that he is officially off the show together with the other guys.

Behind the scenes with You’re Beautiful’s cast

SBS’s You’re Beautiful showed off its Ilsan, Kyunggi-do, filming location on the afternoon of October 13 for an open set day. The cast showed some behind-the-scenes activities (and new hairstyles!) and gave interviews with the media, who were on hand to watch some new scenes being shot.

If you’ve been watching the drama (or just following along with the developments), you’ll know that A.N.JELL is the drama’s fictional idol group, led by Jang Geun-seok and also consisting of Park Shin-hye, Lee Hong-ki, and Jung Yong-hwa. In these scenes, A.N.JELL appears on a television variety program (as so many of kpop’s real idols do) and participate in some silly games.

Jang Geun-seok explained, “As the eldest, I feel a big sense of responsibility.” Naturally, the cast and crew are aware of potential competition coming from new rival drama IRIS, which is to premiere tomorrow. Jang said, “I’m not really worried about the competition, but I do make an effort to keep the atmosphere on set pleasant.” He therefore cracks a lot of jokes to maintain an upbeat mood. He also said, “Since Iris is a different genre, I think it has different strengths and weaknesses. It’s true that I’m a little nervous, but I’m not fixating on Iris.” He joked that he would watch You’re Beautiful during its first run, and catch Iris in reruns.

Super rookies BEAST have arrived!

On October 15th at 6PM, they are having their showcase at Seoul's Choongmo District through MTV. Their showcase is to be open to the public and their debut was spectacular. At this showcase, BEAST will sing their debut song Bad Girl and in addition, each individual member will show of their unique talents with their own performance. This is a chance for BEAST, who have practiced for a long time, to show all of their skills with no regrets.

At this showcase, labelmates Hyun Ah and SoHyun of 4minute were the MCs and supported them. 4minute will perform Muzik and What a girl wants.

FT Island Former Member, Oh Wonbin, Participates In “You’re Beautiful” OST

Oh Wonbin, former member of FT Island, will be participating in one of the tracks of “You’re Beautiful” OST, titled “Coming Down From The Sky“. It was said that Oh Wonbin volunteered to sing for the OST in support of his ex-fellow band mate, Lee Hongki.

There are many assumptions when this news was released. With earlier reasons saying that Oh Wonbin left the group due to disharmony between the members and him being singled out, his participation in the OST this time is creating lots of speculation.

Some netizens are making assumptions that, “Could it be that Oh Wonbin is returning to FT Island?” and “Is Oh Wonbin doing projects with FT Island or with the individual members?” Some also said that, if it is true that there is disharmony between the members, then it would be difficult for Oh Wonbin to participate in the OST to support Lee Hongki.

FT Island’s management company said that, “As what was already mentioned earlier, Oh Wonbin left the band due to differences in music. Though Oh Wonbin has already left the group, their friendship is still strong.”

Meanwhile, songs from “You’re Beautiful” OST will be revealed on MNet.com and other major online music sites on 14th. The physical album will also be released on the same day.

Song by Oh Wonbin and Miss $, titled “Coming Down From The Sky“, has a cheerful and bright melody with sweet lyrics.

The OST is also receiving lots of love with songs such as “Still” and “Promise” having both A.N.JELL and Lee Hongki’s versions. Park Shinhye’s solo is also included in the OST.

The third episode of “You’re Beautiful” will air tonight at 10pm.

On the 10th of October in Seoul, SOHU Korea managed to snag a short interview with Super Junior-M before the beginning of Dream Concert 2009. Due to perform the title track of their new mini-album, [SUPER GIRL], during the concert, this would be their first performance in Korea.

When speaking about this mini-album and the great results achieved in China by the group, leader Han Geng replied politely: “This mini-album is only the beginning.”
