On 2PM’s new album and future schedule, “We do not have confirmed plans yet”

With news going out that 2PM will perform as 6 members for Dream Concert this year, after leader member JaeBum left the group on 8th September, there are some who are curious when they will come up with a new album, and also their schedule after Dream Concert.

2PM will perform for the first time as 6 members after JaeBum left the group and JYP Entertainment announced that the group will promote as 6 members on 10th October for Dream Concert.

A JYP representative said, “For now, we have to continue with Dream Concert because we have confirmed the group’s appearance along time back. But for the group’s following schedule, we have no confirmed plans yet.”

Also, before JaeBum withdrew from the group, there were plans for the group to come up with a new album either early or mid October, the JYP representative said, “We have not decided on the album release date. Even though we have decided that the group will promote as 6 members, it has just been decided for not long ago, we are having a headache now over when the album should come out.”

2AM to perform 4Minute’s ‘Hot Issue’ on Chuseok special

Group 2AM will transform as newcomer girlgroup 4Minute.
2AM will be performing 4Minute’s debut song ‘Hot Issue’ on MBC harvest moon special ‘Star Dance Battle’.
During the re-recording of the show, they wore colourful outfits and they put up a comical performance of the song, displaying their showmanship.
One of the highlights of the performance is member ChangMin doing a split at then end of the performance.
ChangMin also revealed, “I’m here to bring to you my ballet dance steps again.”
The show will be aired on 4th October at 7.35pm.

f(x) To Perform Overseas!

Barely a month to their debut, idol group f(x) is set to perform overseas!

On October 6th, they will perform in an Olympic Sailing Center, in Qingdao, China, for the "2009 Korea-China Song Festival". They will be performing their debut hit single "La Cha TA".

They are emerging, and taking a step, to show that they are one of the best idol groups in Asia. This is a special performance for f(x) because Qingdao is the home town of f(x)'s Chinese-member and leader, Victoria.

"2009 Korea-China Song Festival" is to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the relationship between Korea and China and celebrate the friendship of the two countries. Other Asia superstars such as Super Junior-M, Bang Bang Tang, Xin Xiao Qi, and Ah Du will also be performing at this event.

It's really great to see f(x) taking a step to stand out amongst all these idol girl groups. Best of luck to the girls!

Kara's Morning Look?

Well guess what, more information has been revealed about SBS Chuseok Special "Idol Big Show"! What is it? Well, idol girl group Kara will be revealing their looks at 8AM in the morning to viewers this Chuseok!

The production team actually went to Kara's dorm in the morning, waking up the sleeping members. They captured everything - from their morning looks to Kara's maknae Jiyoung going to school for a test. They will also reveal the members surfing the internet while chatting with their friends, and the members relaxing with their no-make-up face.

Back on the show, Kara will perform a trot mix of "Oh My!" (originally by Jang Yoon Jung) and "Its a Snake" (originally by Kim Hae Yeon). Other idols like 2AM perform Park Hyun Bin's "Shabang Shabang", while Brown Eyed Girls will perform "Abracadabra". 2AM's Jo Kwon will also do the famous "saucy hip swaying move" as well as imitating the glasses performance by rapper Miryo.

It just gets better and better right? There's really some intense competition going around between SBS, KBS and MBC for Chuseok Specials in 2009.

Kara On Vacation

Good news for Kara members but sad news for us fans. After two months of non-stop promotions for their album, they will be heading for a well deserved break.

Kara had returned with their Revolution album in July and have had two hit songs, "Wanna" and "Mister" which have been well-received by fans.

Starting on October 2nd, they will stop all their schedules and take a vacation from the busy months that they have went through. They not only worked hard on their songs, they were also very busy with all their variety show appearances. They definitely deserved the Mutizen Song they won with "Wanna" not too long ago. They have just slept 3 - 4 hours each day and most of their day, they can be spotted running from place to place, just to complete all their performances and tv appearances.

The only thing is that, their vacation is not very long. Just three days for these hardworking girls! For the Chuseok weekend, they will get to reunite with their family members and get some beauty sleep! They have made no special plans for their break and plan to get as much rest as possible this time around.

Kara will be leaving their dorm and visit their family members back home. For Goo Hara, she will take a plane to her hometown, GwangJu, and spend some quality time with her family.

Only a month after their debut, f(x) showed that although they are new, they are still a force to be reckoned with.

Cyworld has announced the winner of their Rookie of the Month award for the month of September, and it goes to none other than SM's latest girl group.

Looks like f(x) is ending September with a bang with their Rookie of the Month award, overseas performance and their participation at the 2009 Dream Concert.

After School to transform as 2PM performing ‘Again & Again’

Group After School has perfectly transformed as group 2PM performing their hit ‘Again & Again’.

During the pre-recording of MBC Chuseok special ‘Star Dance Battle’, After School put up a powerful performance.

The members donned boyish outfits and did their rendition of 2PM’s ‘Again & Again’ which was one of the top hits in Kpop for the 1st half of 2009. They performed the full song, and also a dance break during the performance.

And check out member GaHee’s message to 2PM!

Member GaHee also have the words ‘This is for you guys’ written on her right arm, sending a message to group 2PM who are currently taking a break off from promotions.

The show will be aired on 4th October at 7.35pm.
