9-girl group SNSD's Jessica(20) gave an encouraging message to her younger sister Krystal(15) who made her debut through the 5-girl rookie group f(x).

On the 15th, after the press conference about the production for the musical 'Legally Blonde' at the Seoul Samsungdong Coex Artium in the afternoon, Jessica showed her worries about her younger sister during the meeting with Star News.

"Krystal made her debut at a younger age than me. Making an early debut can be a good thing but I'm still worried" said Jessica, caring as a older sister, not as a senior singer.

"However, Krystal, being a strong girl, will do a good job"; "I also heard from manager oppa last year that she was doing great", said Jessica with a smile on her face.

Then she said, "Actually, before I started my activities, I didn't have time to spend with her so I didn't know she could sing, dance and talk so well like that"; "Learning/practicing dance and sing in a fast time to the point of being capable of debuting already never crossed my mind", feeling proud.

"I hope Krystal can work hard in the future like how she is doing now"; "Surely, similar aspects between us will appear because we are sisters, not because she is trying to follow her older sister. But with each one of us carrying a different charm, it would be good if hers could be explored.", requested Jessica.


On a side note, 'Legally Blonde', which it has the same name with the Hollywood movie, it's originally a musical from Broadway. Jessica will play the female protagonist Elle Woods together with actress Lee Haniu and actor Kim Jiwoo, making their performance on the November, 14th at the Coex Atrium.

Juvis is said to be the #1 dietary product for female to lose their weight naturally and healthily without having to skip their 3 meals.

SS501 Kim HyunJoong is back in Korea


After being hospitalised in Japan for swine flu, SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong was discharged from hospital on the 15th September. And on 16th September, he has returned to Korea.
On September 16th at 2PM, Kim Hyun Joong arrived through KimPo Airport. He even brought the documents from the hospital that the H1N1 virus has fully been cured.
His virus had been fully cured. It was said that HyunJoong’s voice had also gotten better to the relief of many fans.
Kim HyunJoong had begun to feel unwell from 5th and 6th September during an event for drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’. And then on 7th September when they were heading to the airport to return to Korea, he suddenly developed high fever. He was tested positive for swine flu after being rushed to the hospital.

Billboard will launch in South Korea through a partnership with Korean media company ViewLife, Inc. The first-ever Billboard Korea charts will launch with a consumer Korean-language music Web site and mobile music applications.

Billboard and ViewLife will work with the Korea Entertainment Producer's Assn. -- a nonprofit Korean association -- to develop the Billboard Korea charts. The charts will follow Korean pop artists as well as artists from around the world.

"South Korea is a key music market, and we're thrilled to be working with ViewLife and KEPA to bring new and exciting digital/mobile products as well as Billboard charts -- the measure of success in music -- to this country," Billboard publisher Howard Appelbaum said. "Billboard has successfully launched in major territories such as Japan, Turkey and Russia, and Billboard Korea is the perfect way to expand the brand's ongoing international efforts."

"This will be the stepping stone to for us take Korean music to the world. KEPA will be able to provide its artist with a larger market and a greater vision in a more efficient and realistic method," KEPA chairman Jung Dae Ahn said.

2PM Jaebeom Wants to Go Back But Still Not Sure

I am a parent of someone that is close to Jaybum's age. Watching what has been happening these past few days, I have built up some confidence to say a few words.

I have been business partners with Jaybum's dad in Seattle and am a Korean-America who has been living here for 30 years. I have known Jaybum since he was a little kid and have watched him grow throughout the years. Also my kids have been going to school with him since pre-school and so they are quite close. Thus, I think I know a lot about Jaybum's family.

Jaybum's house in Seattle is near a beach called Edmonds and is in a prospective middle-class neighborhood. This house has been built for 40 years, but Jaybum has lived here ever since he was born for over 20 years.

In the parking lot aren't BMW's and Lexus's, but rather there are cars that are about 5-10 years old. Just recently they just leased a car from Hyundai Dealershop for an Elantra, but after Jaybum's situation, they had to return it.

In their house is a 37 inch Sony TV that has been there for 10 years. All the computers in their house are very old and about to break, and the best computer they have is a notebook that a fan had bought for Jaybum.

The reason i am telling you all this is because I wanted to show you how Jaybum's family life style is not fake nor ostentatious, but rather humble and normal for a middle-class family.

Actress Lee Young-ae expressed her position about her secret marriage to a businessman Tuesday for the first time since she returned home following their wedding last month at a resort in Hawaii.

At a 10-minute or so briefing to a throng of reporters who gathered at Hanyang University, she said her marriage does not necessarily mean an end to acting, though she declined to be specific about her future plans. Lee is taking a doctoral course at Hanyang University's Graduate School of Theater and Cinema this semester.

"I hope my fans understand (the marriage) as there are diverse forms of marriages though I'm sorry to my fans who love me. I just wanted to make it quietly," Lee said. "What's most important for now is to be faithful to marriage life."

Actress Kim Tae-hee, well known for her beauty, was found to have achieved perfect scores in all subjects during three years in middle school.

An MBC TV program got its hands on her school records and disclosed them to the media ahead of the launch of the new entertainment program "Star the Secret."

Singer Brian of K-pop duo Fly To The Sky

Singer Brian of Korean R&B duo Fly to the Sky has set up an agency to help promote his United States debut, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The Korean-American singer established Onpoint Entertainment with Lee Joo-hong, who has been working as a manager for the group, the statement said.

"Our relationship is one that is not as an agency versus an artist but as family-like companions", explained Lee, now president of Onpoint. "I will do my best to support [Brian]".

Lee went on to say, "We have signed an overseas record distribution and a promotion deal with Sony Music. We are set to take off preparations to make a debut in the Asian market, such as in Japan and China, and particularly the U.S."

Jung and Park launched "Behind" and "Guggen", respectively, which are being sold at Shinsegae's E-mart stores since late August, Forestar Entertainment stated in a press release.

Epik High’s first performance of “Wannabe”

Epik High released their 6th album titled [e] earlier today. And they don't hesitate when it comes to promoting their music. The first single from [e] is titled "Wannabe" and they performed it for the very first time on MBC's Music Travel La La La program. This wasn't the only track they performed from the [e] as they performed "Heaven" along with MYK and his guitar. Epik High also performed their past hits "Fly" and "Fan."

I believe this was the first album that Epik High produced on their own without the help of legendary Korean hip hop producer Pe2ny, so I was interested in how it would turn out. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the album yet but from what I've heard thus far, both Wannabe and Heaven are outstanding tracks. I'm pretty sure the whole album is going to be equally amazing when I sit down and get a chance to take it all in. Epik High always bring freshness to my ears and I love them, they're simply Epic.

Porn Debacle Corners Online Storage Firms

2009 has already been a dismal year for online storage providers and peer-to-peer (P2P) sites, which were heavily blitzed by government efforts to suppress piracy. Now, it's apparent that they will get no love from porn producers either.

Frustrated by what they saw as foot-dragging by South Korean law enforcement authorities, a group of 50 U.S. and Japanese porn producers said they would go after some 65,000 Korean Internet users and Web companies for illegally uploading their videos on file-sharing sites and gaining profit from them.

This is an expansion from the 10,000 Koreans named in the first lawsuit of the porn makers that was revealed in July.

About 70 online storage firms and peer-to-peer sites are targeted in the latest lawsuit, according to the legal representatives of the porn makers, who didn't reveal the names of the companies. However, it's easy to guess from the number that most of the major file-sharing sites are being targeted.

Super Junior Kangin’s Assault Case Caught on CCTV!

New developments on Super Junior Kangin's assault case have been revealed!

As of now, Kangin as well as 3 others are under investigation to see who was involved in the fight. Kangin had claimed that he was a victim. He stated that he did not hit anyone, and instead, that he had just taken hits.

Unfortunately, or fortunately for Kangin, a nearby CCTV camera is said to have captured footage on the night of September 16th, when the fight broke out. Although the contents have not yet been revealed, this evidence will be a huge determining factor and has just opened up a whole new can of worms.

However looks like the officials in charge of this case in KangNam police station declared that KangIn might not be 100% true. Then where does this leave KangIn, Super Junior, and their activities?

KangIn was caught between a mess when there ended up being violence in the pub where he was drinking. Everything was well when KangInpleaded that he was innocent declaring that he had been victim throughout while the violent act was occurring. However, the four men who were taken into custody declared that KangInhad been there also displaying violence leaving the police officers to find out the truth. according to the police officers, KangIn’s charges are also being concerned as well.

Then, where does this leave KangIn and Super Junior? SM Entertainment strongly emphasized the point that KangIn was not involved in the assault case. This leads to the Asia Song Festival 2009. Super Junior had been confirmed to be at the ASF, however, According to one official, it seems as this is going to be a difficult task to fulfill with KangIn’s case occuring.

The officials at the Asia Song Festival said, “So far we have not heard about the case through the SM Entertainment’s point. Currently we have no changes in the stars to appear. Even for the press conference, everything well go as it was planned.” However, the stars should know that going on stage is hard after a serious issue like KangIn’s.

One of the many Hollywood hopefuls, Lee Byung Hun, (Storm Shadow in the summer blockbuster G.I Joe) has now signed up for the sequel set to start filming at the end of the year. If that didn't make you excited, then maybe the fact that Lee Byung Hun has also signed up for the 3rd installment in the series will! I bet anyone who has seen the first movie is interested how the writers are going to pull this off!

Currently, LBH is still filming his drama IRIS with Big Bang's T.O.P (Like we need to be reminded allkpop, lol) and doing promotions overseas, but most of his time starting next year will be spent in Hollywood.

Andre Kim drops Kangin

With Kangin currently under investigation for his involvement in an assault case on the 16th, his schedules are now being cancelled one after another.

Kangin was originally scheduled to walk down the runway with Miss Korea 2009, Kim Joo Ri, modeling for Andre Kim’s Gangnam Fashion Festival collection on 22nd September at the COEX Piano Fountain Square. But with Kangin's involvement in the assault case, he has now been dropped from the show.

A spokesperson for Andre Kim revealed on the 17th, "Because of Kangin's involvement in a recent police case, we have decided to drop him from the show. We are now looking for someone to replace him and have yet to find a replacement."

With Super Junior scheduled to perform at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on 19th September, Kangin's involvement is now in doubt with no statements from SM Entertainment at the moment. Kangin has strongly maintained his innocence throughout the investigations and fans are hoping for a favourable outcome for their idol.

Inkigayo to Adopt Guest MCs System

Remember the news we reported earlier in the week about 2PM members, Taecyeon and Wooyoung possibly leaving their MCs position on Inkigayo? A decision has been made today by the producers of Inkigayo and you can say that it's good and bad in a way for 2PM fans.

The good news is that the Inkigayo team will not find a replacement for Taecyeon and Wooyoung. The bad news is that Taecyeon and Wooyoung will be taking a temporary leave of absence, meaning that the 13th September episode of Inkigayo will be their last appearance for a long while.

In the aftermath of the Jaebeom incident, it was decided that it would be better for Taecyeon and Wooyoung to take time off and relieve the stress and pressure that comes with hosting Inkigayo and having to deal with what has happened off the stage at the same time. But the MC positions on Inkigayo will always be left open for Taecyeon and Wooyoung to return to once everything has been cleared up.

With Taecyeon and Wooyoung away, actress Ha Yeon Joo will remain as the MC and she will be partnered by rotating guest MCs which will be decided on a weekly basis, starting from this week's Inkigayo on the 20th of September.

Big Bang leader G-Dragon and member SeungRi will be appearing for the telerecording to 1st episode of SBS new variety show ‘KangShimJang (Strong Heart)’ on 24th September.

By the title of the show, the show will follow a concept to find out which of the 20+ guests has the strongest heart and tells the most revealing stories through the talkshow section.

Other guest appearance for the 1st episode are So Nyeo Shi Dae YoonA, Epik High Tablo, Baek Ji Young, Jang YoonJeong, Kim TaeWoo, Solbi, MC Mong, Han Sung Joo etc.

And much anticipation is for what kind of talks will be revealed from the 2 Big Bang members. Especially since the 2 are known for their close relationship, which has also earned them the nickname of ‘Tom and Jerry’.

Meanwhile, the host to the show will also be national MC Kang HoDong and the style to the talkshow is special because it is not going to be a 1-to-1 interview but a 1-to-many and for the first episode it will be a 1-to-23 format.

The first episode will be aired on 6th October.

I know I already submitted a post that GD was going to be on it, but look at how solid the rest of the lineup is, including Ri! I'm really excited because if GD's not on the screen, at least I'll be seeing other people I adore (not Solbi though).
