Known to serenade celebrities with harsh words, gagman Wang Biho continued his antics with his latest victims, 4minute!

As usual, Wang didn't mince words or sugarcoat his ideas - he directly questioned the relatively new girl group, "Are you guys just copying 2NE1?" Since 2NE1 and 4minute debuted around the same time people seemed to compare the two on their similarities. However, most comparisons have been done privately or online; Wang Biho actually came out and expressed these thoughts in front of national television.

The gagman continued on to name the members of 2NE1, "HyunAh, Minzy, NaRa..." This caused Lee Su Geun to say, "Why are you getting the names wrong? HyunAh is in 4minute!" Wang Biho replied, "If it wasn't for HyunAh, no one would really know 4minute and therefore nobody would know I was getting the names mixed up."

Daesung is Coming Back

After being forced to suspend his activities, following injuries and surgery suffered from a horrific car accident on 11th August, Big Bang's Daesung will soon be returning to our tv screens after recovering sooner than projected.

In a phone interview with the PD of SBS Family Outing on the 14th, "Daesung will be participating in the 21 - 22nd recording of Family Outing in Jeju Island." This marks Daesung's return after a 42 day absence since his car accident. Big Bang's Seungri had filled in for Daesung in the last recording, of which Kim Hyun Joong was the guest family member.

There was more good news for fans of Big Bang, as Daesung will first return to stage and perform together with Big Bang at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on 19th September.

Newspaper ad published by 2PM fans on September 14, 2009

Fans of popular boy band 2PM published an advertisement on the front page of a newspaper on Monday as part of their efforts to bring back former leader Park Jae-beom who quit the group last week over controversial comments he made before his debut.

The ad, titled "Four year wait, one year flight... and downfall in just four days," was placed in a daily newspaper by an alliance of some 60 of the group's fan clubs, calling on the group's management agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) to withdraw its decision in allowing Park to leave the group.

"Park Jae-beom still has much to learn and fulfill. Give him the chance to take flight again in Korea," the ad said as it explained how five years of life in Korea had changed the former singer.

Sandara Park cries after last performance: "I could've done better"

2NE1's Sandara Park cried after her last performance on SBS's Inkigayo on the 13th.

One person that works with 2NE1 told Money Today Star News, "Sandara Park shed tears after the 'In The Club' performance. I think she cried because she wanted to perform a better performance since it was their last one (for this mini album)."

The person also said "All of the staff saw Sandara's tears, and they gave her a round of applause for her passion to give her best performance to the end."

Hwang to Unveil First Solo Album

Hwang Jung-eum

Singer and actress Hwang Jung-eum will release her first solo album in late September to help promote her cosmetics business.

The 24-year-old made her debut as a member of girl group Sugar in 2002. She is now appearing in MBC-TV's sitcoms "High Kick Through the Roof" and the Sunday night show "We Got Married," where she stars with her lover Kim Yong-joon, a member of boy band SG Wannabe.

2AM Jo Kwon talks about being confessed to by group female singers.

Jo Kwon appeared as one of the MCs to the new SBS environmental variety show ‘Find it! Green Gold’ on 14th September, and SS501 member Kim HyungJoon has asked the question, “Have you been confessed to by more than 1 female entertainer?” and Jo Kwon answered, “Yes”.

 

And then Fly To The Sky Brain asked, “Group singer? Solo singer?” hoping for a truthful answer, and then Super Junior ShinDong interrupted with, “OK, we shall stop here” giving hope to Jo Kwon to change the topic.

But Jo Kwon had gone to answer Brian’s question, “Group”. And ShinDong joked, “Since you said group, we shall not ask if she is a singer or actress.”

The show features 2AM’s Jo Kwon, SS501 Kim Hyung Joon, Super Junior Shin Dong and Brian Joo as MCs going around to places on their bicycle and solving environmental problems they spot.

JYPE speaks up about 2PM Jaebeom

JYP Entertainment speaks up about 2PM leader JaeBum’s decision on whether he will return to Korea, “He has not said anything.”

JYP representative responded on MBC ‘Happy Day’ aired on 14th September about the question to whether JaeBum will return to Korea, “JaeBum’s decision to go back to America has nothing to do with the company. He has not spoken about what are the future plans.”

Also on ‘Happy Day’ aired today, the trainee live of the 2PM members were also revealed.

On the show, JaeBum was shown saying, “(During trainee days), I can’t speak Korean, and I was not used to the food. It was tough. Also, it was tough being alone in Korea without my mother.”

Then another member TaekYeon added, “Back then, it was so tough for JaeBum that he cried going to sleep.”

Nickhun will not attend Star King recording

The aftermath of 2PM's Jaebeom quitting and returning to America has been quite chaotic. With Taecyeon and Wooyong possibly retiring from their MC roles on SBS Inkigayo, now comes even more disappointing news.

It's been confirmed that 2PM's Nichkhun will not be attending the filming of the September 14th(today) recording of SBS Star King.

Star King's PD Bae Sung Woo informed Newsen today:

"Nichkhun will not be attending today's(14th) recoding of Star King. We know 2PM members are currently canceling their appearances from programs, however, depending on the situation, there is the possibility of change."

JYP Entertainment is currently pulling out 2PM members due to the emotional and mental stress of Jaebeom leaving the group. However, it is still unclear whether Taecyeon and Wooyoung will be pulled from their MC roles on SBS Inkigayo.

New Girlgroup 'Secret': All members revealed

It is reported that all the members will be introduced in a new reality show titled, "Secret Story," that will air on Mnet on the 21st of September.

Wonder Girls Getting Disrespected in America?

Photos of the Wonder Girls signing autographs for a fan in America have recently made their way into Korean cyberspace, making Korean Wonderfuls very angry.

The photos which were uploaded on the 18th of last month (August), were taken after the Wonder Girls had a fan signing event after performing in the Jonas Brothers concert. The photos made Korean Wonderfuls really angry which showed Sohee and Yubin, reaching over the table to sign on a worn sneaker of a fan who had placed it on the table. They felt that this was a mark of disrespect to the Wonder Girls.

Fans chided this particular American fan saying that even though the Wonder Girls weren't that famous yet in America, they shouldn't be subjected to this sort of humilation. Another felt that the Wonder Girls shouldn't have signed for this fan in this manner in the first place. Many fans felt really sorry for the Wonder Girls and sincerely hope that the Wonder Girls will soon gain a foothold in America with their songs.

Cherry Filter criticizes JYP, speaks out for 2PM

Cherry Filter expressed their bitter worries over the issues currently surrounding 2PM. Leader Jang WooJin stated that they were unable to comprehend his abrupt leave and expressed criticism concerning speculation over JYP employees forcing Jaebum to leave.

"If someone from our company forced one of Cherry Filter's members to leave, it is the same as telling the band to never make music again. Isn't it the same for 2PM?"

He went on to say that it would be impossible for 2PM to fill Jaebum's void. "Their company is so irresponsible for kicking Jaebum out of the group over personal issues dealt over 4 years ago."
