omonatheydidJYP Entertainment speaks up about 2PM leader JaeBum’s decision on whether he will return to Korea, “He has not said anything.”
JYP representative responded on MBC ‘Happy Day’ aired on 14th September about the question to whether JaeBum will return to Korea, “JaeBum’s decision to go back to America has nothing to do with the company. He has not spoken about what are the future plans.”
Also on ‘Happy Day’ aired today, the trainee live of the 2PM members were also revealed.
On the show, JaeBum was shown saying, “(During trainee days), I can’t speak Korean, and I was not used to the food. It was tough. Also, it was tough being alone in Korea without my mother.”
Then another member TaekYeon added, “Back then, it was so tough for JaeBum that he cried going to sleep.”

What an emotional rollercoaster ride this has been. I've never felt so conflicted about any other group, seriously.
Anyways, i think Jae would return to Korea eventually, cos' even if he did eventually choose to leave 2pm, i'm sure he'd want to visit his members some time or another. And Jay's still young, he's only 23....still a long time for him to make a smashing banging comeback.

No one in their right mind would choose this kind of fate on their own knowing what would come afterward, and not even being sure if they would come back or not.

Date: 2009-09-14 10:00 am (UTC)And I can't make up my mind whether to believe JYPE or not, because even though Jay had only debuted a year before, I still kind of think they would care enough about him to let him go back to the US (for an undetermined period of time...?). But I kind of think they might have encouraged him somewhat, or that they didn't try to stop him at all when he said he wanted to leave because they though it was the best decision.
And honestly, I think it was. Now he's sort of a 'martyr' and has everyone (political figures, entertainers, staff, friends, fans) on his side, and so much media coverage has been given to the situation putting him in good light. It's going to be insane when he comes back. If he had stayed, 2PM might have gotten through it and people might have forgotten, but they would never has received as much public support or attention. I'm not saying this as a conspiracy theory or that they let/made him go on purpose because they though of all this. I'm just trying to see the brighter side of things, I guess. Because I refuse to believe their careers are over ;_;
tl;dr: Something is definitely fishy but Jay leaving was the best decision.
