Big Bang TaeYang will release a full-length album for his next solo single album.

Yang HyunSeok representative of YG Entertainment said in an recent interview, “We have produced many songs for the full length album.”

TaeYang released his first solo minialbum ‘HOT’ last May and was the first member out of Big Bang to have his solo debut. He also did his solo promotions for the title song ‘Look Only At Me’ and has won #1 on music shows for 2 weeks consecutively back then.

Representative Yang said about TaeYang’s new album, “We have plans for it to be released in October, but there may more or less be some delays. That’s why we are thinking about whether to release one song first as a digital single.”

TaeYang has received much love for his solo promotions previously, and much anticipation is for his new solo album.

Japan buys High Kick Through The Roof

The new sitcom High Kick Through the Roof [지붕 뚫고 하이킥] hasn't even aired yet, and already it's been licensed for a Japanese broadcast. The production company, Green Snake Media, has sold the family sitcom to a subsidiary of Sony for a November broadcast on the So-net channel in Japan. The Korean broadcast will premiere next week.

They must be really confident in the series, based solely off the popularity of its predecessor, Unstoppable High Kick, which was a hit back in 2006 and 2007 and catapulted several young stars to fame. This is the first time that a Korean sitcom has been licensed for an overseas broadcast prior to airing, and Japan's run will commence before the Korean run is finished. (It's not the first time a drama series has been pre-sold, usually based on the strength of a star's name such as Choi Ji-woo, but sitcoms with their larger episode orders are another kettle of fish.)

The High Kick spinoff (or "High Kick 2") stars (in the older generation) veteran actors Lee Soon-jae, Kim Ja-ok, Oh Hyun-kyung, and Jung Bo-seok. Its younger generation is where most curiosity is directed, as people wonder who will be the breakout star of this round, like Jung Il-woo and Kim Bum were in the first. Those cast members include Shin Sae-kyung, Seo Shin-ae, and Hwang Jung-eum.

High Kick Through the Roof airs every week-night (Monday through Friday) and premieres September 7.

Man killed because he didn’t know Wonder Girls "Nobody"

We all know that the hit song, Nobody by the Wonder Girls is a global phenomenon. But no one would have expected this. A man in the Philippines was apparently stabbed in the stomach and hit in the head till he was almost dead because he didn't know the song, Nobody.



His name was Leo Santos, 28, and he was killed by 4 men from Tondo, Manila. The knife used was even left in the guy's body and the whole murder was because he doesn't know the song 'Nobody' by Wonder Girls.

Santos, an electrician from Mahomas Compound, Tondo, Manila was stabbed 2 times in the stomach and hit to death on 26th August. He died last Thursday at the Memorial Medical Center after succumbing to his fatal injuries..

The Manila Police District-Homicide Section are now looking for the suspects Jansen Maglanque, Jonar Balagtas, Rodolfo Aguas and Joseph (alias) for alleged murder.

According to information released by the investigation team, Leo Santos was walking along the Corregidor Street around 2am when Joseph was singing Nobody by Wonder Girls. Leo asked him, "What are you singing?"

The suspect, Joseph, got irritated because Leo doesn't know the song he was singing. Joseph then punched Leo in the face and the other suspects joined in beating Leo to death. One of the suspects (the news didn't say who) even stabbed Leo in the stomach 2 times before all of them ran away.

The family didn't report the case immediately, only choosing to make a police report yesterday afternoon because the family decided that taking care of Leo's hospital issues and funeral arrangement were much more important.

Nude photos of a top female idol group artiste recently surfaced and that idol in question is After School’s UEE.



Shocking nude photos of an unnamed artiste and an unidentified man at a motel had surfaced over the past weekend before making headlines today, creating a ruckus among netizens. Some claim they were photoshopped, while others said that it was really her.

Pledis Entertainment stated on behalf of UEE:
“There is no way that it is real. The photos are 100% fake. We have confirmed with our artist as well, and she is in extreme shock and disbelief, and has stated that they are 100% fake. Fans should rest assured that these photos are 100% fake.”

Epik High's member DJ Tukutz congratulated fellow member Tablo on his wedding with actress Kang Hye Jung.

DJ Tukutz wrote on his personal blog on 5th September through mapthesoul.com and indirectly blessed their marriage by saying warm words like, "The probability of a person actually meeting their fated lover is 1 in 300 million, but Tablo and Hye Jung have beaten the odds."

It is reported that the couple's marriage will take place on the month of October, but the date and location still remains a mystery. It has also been revealed that Kang Hye Jung is currently 5 weeks pregnant and the engaged actress commented that, "I'm very happy that I am going to be with the person I love for a lifetime."

Filming of Let's Go Dream Team Season 2

KBS 2TV revealed its 'Dream Team'. It aired for 5 years, from 1999 to November 2nd, 2003, and the program that produced top stars such as Jo SungMo, Rain, Gosu, Kwon SangWoo, So JiSup, Park YongHa, YooJaeSuk and etc. is making a comeback after 10 years, as ‘Start Dream Team Season 2 - The Green Team is going’ on the coming September 13th.

As new members, the current KBS Music Bank MC and ex-short track athlete Song JoongGi, South Korea’s beast idol group, 2PM’s Junho, and Shinee’s flower boy MinHo has been confirmed. MinHo is known as the son of football player-cum-director Choi YoonGyum, so expectations are especially high.

In addition to this, girl group Kara will appear and, in celebration of the comeback, they will put the team through various tests to pick the best popular male of the 'Dream Team'.

The fierce opposing team that will battle it out with the 'Dream Team' is 'Incheon’s Coast Police' team, and it is known that they were nominated for following strict rules.

The 'Dream Team' vs 'Incheon’s Coastal Police' team game is planned to be filmed in a major set, at Incheon’s WangSan Beach, and it is estimated that the powerful action and upgraded game rules will hook many viewers.

Shinhwa Members Get Intimate

SBS variety show "Intimate Note 2" has featured a number of popular artists in the past such as Wonder Girls, Big Bang, Fly to the Sky, SNSD; the premise is to help members eliminate awkwardness & grow closer with other members of their group. On August 25th, three members of pioneer idol group Shinhwa, Lee Min Woo, Andy, and Junjin, gathered together to make their rare appearance on the show as well.

During this recording, Lee Min Woo confesses his previous interest in Chae Yeon and calls Moon Hee Jung out on his awkward relationship with fellow H.O.T member Jang Woo Hyuk. Stories about Eric, Kim Dongwan and Shin Hyesung, the remaining members of Shinhwa who were unable to attend, are also unveiled.

Although the show is intended to strengthen the relationship within a group, it appears that members of Shinhwa were never awkward with each other in the first place. Instead, the members of this legendary group displayed remarkable friendships of over a decade, as they exchanged nostalgic memories of the days when they reigned over kpop.

Kim Hyun Joong’s Confessions

On September 5, flower boy Kim Hyun Joong had a kiss and tell of sorts during his "Boys Over Flowers" promotions in Japan. Several questions were asked and he answered confidently, often receiving much laughter or shocked reactions from the crowd.

When asked if he had ever held any part time positions prior to his gig as the leader of SS501, Kim Hyun Joong revealed he had previously worked as a paper boy and as a fast food employee. For the ladies, when asked what present he would give to his girlfriend, he answered simply, "A kiss," which made several hearts flutter without a doubt. Finally, Kim Hyun Joong expressed his desires of holding a concert at the Tokyo Dome with his SS501 brothers. The boys have already performed at Budokan this past August, but he truly wishes to perform at the Tokyo Dome with his group mates. Perhaps someday soon we'll be seeing promotional posters and videos for SS501 in the Tokyo Dome and when that happens, you can count on allkpop to cover every single minute of it!

TVXQ’s Junsu and JaeJoong to Switch Occupations?

During a recent cut from Bigeaststation, the members of TVXQ were confronted with the question "Does Korea have gigolo clubs? If there are, who will be the famous one amongst TVXQ members?"

How does one even respond to a question like that? Yoochun did not hesitate in the least and immediately stated, "For me, I think there will be two of them, yes, it has to be these two. We can call these two as 'S-Line' who are none other than JunSu and JaeJoong. JunSu is full of charisma and is very attractive, though his character is just so so... This is what I think. JaeJoong looks like a doll, is pretty, and is stylish."

YG singer JiEun (JC) will comeback as vocal group ‘Lady Collection‘ after 2 yaers.
And with that, Lady Collection will release a self titled mini album ‘Lady Collection’ on 17th October online.

Known for her great singing capabilities, JC will get to work with 2 other singers from YG to make 3-member Lady Collection, coming back into the Kpop world.

Lady Collection will showcase great vocal capabilities and will be a diva ensemble group. They will join the pool of girlgroups out there in the Kpop world this Autumn.

‘Lady Collection‘ meant that each members have their own mucic style and together they form a variety of music talents. After Echo, Big Mama, they will show the next matured perfect music coming Autumn in Kpop.

‘Lady Collection’ is debuting on the 17th with a mini album. Members are JC (which is Jieun, from YG) and two other vocals. In the mini album there are ballad, R&B, medium tempo songs and faster songs. According to the people who’ve heard their songs say “Their songs are like a brighter and lighter version on Big Mama’s songs”.

2PM’s Jaebeom to be kicked off variety show?

2PM's leader Jaebeom has been receiving much attention having been one of the main cast in MBC's "Sunday, Sunday Night." In "Sunday, Sunday Night", he has been filming for a new corner called, No-Da-Gee.

No-Da-Gee is a variety show based on Korea's history where the show's cast is basically suppose to go around Korea's historical landmarks and complete missions, in order to complete Korea's treasure map.

Because he was born and raised in America, Jaebeom is not fully aware of Korea's culture and history. Even so, viewers had criticizing him when he was not able to sing Korea's national anthem in one of the episodes.

From the controversies of Jaebeom's past mistakes surfacing, on top of him not knowing Korea's national anthem by heart, there are discussions being made on whether Jae-Beom will be able to stay on the show or not. As a settlement was not made on September 5th, the day his myspacecontroversy arose, it has been announced that one would be made by the 7th.
