Well it seems like most of the netizens commented that they want to be with the “beast idol star” 2PM’s Nich Khun.

There had been a recent polling asking many netizens “who would you choose to be with if you had been stranded on a island?” The result was the idol star 2PM Nich Khun with 45% of the votes. Here is how the polling went :

2PM 1 Year Anniversary "Barbecue Party" from fans

On Sept. 4th, it was the 1st year anniversary since their debut, so 2PM became very excited and happy thanks to all the congratulations from fans.

In particular, to celebrate 2PM’s 1st anniversary, many fans visited the JYPE office, and gave home-made barbecued food to the JYPE staff, which made the anniversary more exciting.

Some people even said that the international fans (e.g. from Chicago, USA etc.) also came to Korea for the celebration, thus the anniversary seemed like “a festival”.

2PM who went to Thailand for promotions, came back this morning and did not realize it was their anniversary until seeing all the presents, anniversary rice cakes, and barbecued food.

The 2PM members appreciated the fans’ great congratulations, and said “We would like to thank all fans for this great love. In return for this love, we are reminded to keep in mind that we should do our best for you.

In the past year, since their debut with 10 out of 10, 2PM has hit two hit songs: “Again & Again” and “I Hate You” both in a row, and has kept top position under the great popularity of girl idol groups. Most importantly, they have gotten the nickname, “Animal-idol” because of their unique characters – honesty, naturalness and manly charisma as opposed to the other idol groups.

Currently 2PM is focusing on their recording works in preparation of their new single album.

Cheon Sang Ji Hee the Grace Dana (real name Hong Sung Mi) has released to the public her comfortable everday condition.

On September 5th 12:54 pm On her personal Cyworld Mini Hompy, Dana posted pictures of her visiting Herb Country Farm and left a message, "The air is good, the water is good, it's a good place for people."

Dana posted again with pictures of her at her house holding her dog and when she went to the zoo. Through pictures, it revealed to the public of an ordinary life.

Netizens who saw the pictures commented that, "her bare face with no make up is still pretty." "she looks much younger." "a beautiful unchanging goddess." with admiration.

Meanwhile, with Cheon Sang Ji Hee the Grace member Stephanie's injured back, Lina, Dana, and Sunday as a trio did activities to promote their second studio album that was released in Japan.

SNSD's Uncle Fans Opened Their Wallets?

Popular idol group SNSD's fans in their 30's and 40's, also known as the 'Uncle Corps', can be seen in department stores. Starting from the 28th of last month, customers who make purchases of 400,000 won [~$323] or more get tickets to either the 'SNSD, Kara, Brown Eyed Girls, Shinee Concert', which will take place at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on the 13th, or to the 'Lee Seungchul Concert'. This has caused male fans in their 30's and 40's to come out in full force.

Hyundai Department Stores analyzed data on those who received tickets up until the 2nd and it found that, among the 2979 people that chose the SNSD concert, 58.6% were males. Furthermore, 45% of the males were in their 30's and 40's. On the other hand, 3921 people chose tickets to the 'Lee Seungchul Concert', and 86.2% of them were females. Among them, 53% were females in their 40's and 50's.

The concert is to celebrate Hyundai Department Store's opening of its 'U-Plex' store in Shinchon, which specializes in fashion for young people. The event will continue until the 6th.

Lee Ji Ah’s Secret To Long Legs



Actress Lee Ji Ah recently appeared on the September 5th broadcast of SBS Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate, her first appearance ever on a variety show. When Kim Jung Eun complimented Lee Ji Ah on her long legs, Lee responded by saying: "the secret is in insole padding." Lee went onto explain how she was embarrassed by a scene in her drama, SBS Style, where her shoes fell off, revealing the padding. Kim Jung Eun was surprised by Lee Ji Ah's honest manner, different from her image as an actress.

Lee Ji Ah performed No Doubt's "Don't Speak" along with a live band in front of an audience of 1000. In addition, she further revealed her charm through a rock performance with the band's guitarist.

Good news for Wonder Girls fans: If simply watching the girl group wasn’t satisfying enough, wait till the end of this year ― you’ll actually be able to control each and every motion of the superstars through the push of a keyboard button.

This is JYP Entertainment’s ambitious way of bringing fans closer to ― and get them more hooked on ― its most-profitable asset.

Industry insiders say that South Korea’s leading entertainment agency, which manages and represents Wonder Girls, is in the finishing stages of developing an online game dubbed “Star Tales” in conjuction with China’s Shanghai Magic Grid Network, a gaming technology firm.

The product will be released by the end of this year at the earliest, they say. However, JYP Entertainment did not officially comment on the plans.

FT Island’s “Burden Of Being An Idol”, And The Advice From Kim Changwan Is?

FT Island feels burdened to be labeled as “idols”.

The band revealed how they feel about being labeled as “idols” on MBC “Music Travel LaLaLa” that was aired earlier on 2nd September.

“Because of this title, we have to work even harder,” FT Island voiced their concerns, “People will have preconceptions about us.” They also mentioned that, “There’s no time to rest and we’re also short of time.”

MC Kim Changwan advised the members, “Just be shaggy and go on schedules in your training clothes will do.” Lee Hongki laughed, “I do that actually.”

FT Island also mentioned that, “As we get older in future, we want to be called musicians.”

The band also performed a remake version of Yoo Jae Ha’s “Because I Love You” on the show.
