Couple Alert – Eun Ji Won & Miss Lee

Singer turned television host Eun Ji Won (30) is off the singles market. He is currently seeing Miss Lee (32), the older sister of professional soccer player Lee Dong Gook’s wife. They have dating for the past three months.

This relationship is particularly special because Miss Lee is Eun Ji Won’s first love. They fell in love in the mid 1990s when Eun was attending high school abroad in Hawaii where Lee resided. Unfortunately, the relationship ended when Eun had to return to Korea to make his debut as a singer with Sechs Kies in 1997. During the same year, Miss Lee competed in the Miss Korea Hawaii pageant.

Eun must have cherished his memories with her, as he spoke of his first love several times while broadcasting. He admitted, “I have such good memories with the person I met while studying abroad in Hawaii” and “I want to see her again”. There are also several songs in his musical repertoire that speak of first love.

Korean netizens love 2NE1 debut stage

YG new female group 2NE1 had their debut stage on SBS Inkigayo on 17th May with their debut song ‘Fire’.

Even though they are new singers, they did not look like they were newcomers on the stage, putting up a charismatic and powerful performance in front of fans.

Even before their debut, 2NE1 has been the topic amongst netizens for their hit CM song ‘Lollipop’ collaboration with Big Bang.

Netizens’ said, “‘They really live up to their style, and they danced really well”, “Withought listening and just seeing their performance they were really great”, “CL did really well leading the group for their debut stage”, “This was beyond expectation” and “This was like out of their MV” etc.

Great kick start for the girls, they will move on with more performances on other music programmes next week.

Kim Hyun Joong: "hooked on dancing"

Kim Hyun Joong has been infatuated with dancing while preparing for the Asia Tour concert starting in July. He and SS501 other members had returned to Korea from a one week long trip to LA, after performing for the Hollywood Bowl concert. During the performance in LA, Hyun Joong had met and consulted new dance moves from a famous dance group. Although the duration of meeting was short, he managed to practise and learn some of the well-known American style dance moves.

SS501's entertainment company said, " The moment Hyun Joong returned back to Korea, he immediately starts to practise dacing in the dance studio on 14th morning. During the period when he went to Japan for Boys Before FLowers fan meeting, he also paid special attention to Japanese style of dancing."

Kim Hyun Joong explained that the reason for him paying close attention to the different styles of dancing was so that he could demonstrate a variety of dance movements, different from what he used to dance, during the Asia Tour Concert, which starts from South Korea, and proceed to Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and other Asian countries.

After the recent release of SS501 second japanese album, All My Love, SS501's official activites in Japan are also approaching. Because the activities and public performances are just around the corner, Hyun Joong expressed that he is very nervous.

SS501 will return to Korea on the 18th to continue with their promotional activities for their album, All My Love, and prepare for their oncoming concert.

Korea’s representative sexy female singers Son DamBi and ChaeYeon fight it out to win the title of the sexy queen on SBS ‘YaShimManMan2′.

With just 1 year into her singer debut, Son DamBi has been put in comparison as the sexy queen together with other veteran singers like Lee Hyori and ChaeYeon. Plus ChaeYeon is back with a new album and a sexy image, holding the sexy queen title 6 years into her 1st album release.

When asked by the MCs, “Of the 2 who do you think is sexier”, Son DamBi said, “ChaeYeon unnie is at #1 for me. But… I’m actually at the #1 spot for the popularity amongst the military servants.” causing laughter amongst the audience and the MCs.

Today, May 17, at Lotte Department Store in Myeong-dong, Seoul, Lee Min Ho held his 2nd Levi ‘Signature’ fansigning meeting. Wearing a casual wear, and looking fresh as usual, despite the hot weather, F4 most popular guy Lee Min Ho kept smiling as he greeted his fans one by one on stage.

As we know, Lee Min Ho is Levi’s exclusive model. The last event was held back in Ulsan last month, which makes this event in Seoul the second one that Lee Min Ho held for Levi ‘Signature’ fansigning.

Daniel Henney’s U.S. drama picked up for fall

Get ready to see Daniel Henney on U.S. television — his pilot, CBS drama series Three Rivers, has been given the green light for the fall season.

(The network will make the official announcement on Wednesday, but the news has already been leaked and the show has been given the go-ahead to begin staffing writers.)

The series is a medical drama that centers around doctors who specialize in organ transplants, as well as organ donors and recipients. It stars Julia Ormond (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Alex O’Loughlin (Moonlight) as doctors; Daniel Henney also plays a transplant specialist.

The drama doesn’t appeal to me in the least — it seems much more like Three Pounds (remember that? no?) than ER — but will I be watching? Yup. (At least at first.)

And as much as I rag on Daniel Henney’s subpar acting ability, I’m really, really hoping he steps it up and shows he’s improved from his days of stiff delivery and wooden expressions and “I was hit by a bullet once” (a la Seducing Mr. Perfect — shudder).

GDragon returns to Korea after Europe vacation, “It’s like honey-taste recharging process”

GDragon was on SBS Inkigayo to support the debut stage of YG female group 2NE1 when he met up with some reporters and said, “I went travelling to several European countries last April-end, and I am back in Korea recently.”

“I went to London, Paris, then to Japan, before coming back to Korea. I spent time for myself after so long, it is like a honeyed recharging process for me.”

He added with a smile, “We will be active in Japan for the time being, and I will also be attending ‘MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2009′ with the rest of the Big Bang members on 30th. As for activities in Korea, I will be back with a solo album this coming August.”

GDragon was with the YG Family members like DaeSung, Teddy and Perry, together with Yang Hyun Seok, to support 2NE1’s debut stage that day.

A recent set of selca photos of talent Lee Da Hae (26) has become a topic amongst netizens.

She took the photos while filming for MV of Taiwanese singer Will Pan, and posted it up on her minihompy on 13th May in the makeup and costume for the MV. She had bright red lipstick on. She wrote on her minihompy, “Even though it was a little awkward, it was fun.”

Netizens’ responses were, “She looked like a doll”, “she looked ghastly”, “she look really pretty”, “Red lipstick goes well with black Da Hae“, “I’m looking forward to the MV” etc.

sweet sorrow remixes "sorry, sorry".

Even with Super Junior’s activites of ‘Sorry Sorry’ being over, there’s still a couple remixes being released slowly into the Youtube mainstream. Awesome ballad group, Sweet Sorrow, took it upon themselves to do an acapella, beat box of the song with an interesting twist. They fit, all 13 members’ names, in the last leg of the song and made it hot. Don’t believe me?

Epik High LA Meet and Greet

onlyformusic and I went to the meet and greet for LA today. We were part of the first group of people who got to go in and get our stuff signed by Epik High. They were all really nice, and even though we were rushed by the people running the event, Tablo still made an effort to talk to everyone in our group. We gave them the t-shirts we made, and of course, made a lot of effort pimping Omona to them. Tablo responded to with an Oh shit! I can't believe you guys made it. Mithra muttered an Oh shit, and laughed. Tukutz cried out with an arrrrrgh, but nevertheless, was very amused with the shirt.
