Singer turned television host Eun Ji Won (30) is off the singles market. He is currently seeing Miss Lee (32), the older sister of professional soccer player Lee Dong Gook’s wife. They have dating for the past three months.

This relationship is particularly special because Miss Lee is Eun Ji Won’s first love. They fell in love in the mid 1990s when Eun was attending high school abroad in Hawaii where Lee resided. Unfortunately, the relationship ended when Eun had to return to Korea to make his debut as a singer with Sechs Kies in 1997. During the same year, Miss Lee competed in the Miss Korea Hawaii pageant.

Eun must have cherished his memories with her, as he spoke of his first love several times while broadcasting. He admitted, “I have such good memories with the person I met while studying abroad in Hawaii” and “I want to see her again”. There are also several songs in his musical repertoire that speak of first love.

Like a story from a movie, the two have finally been reunited twelve years later. Miss Lee came to Korea in order to help out with her sister’s work and was able to meet up with Eun Ji Won. The two have been seen on dates together frequently in Gangnam these past few months.

Eun also revealed his feelings about his girlfriend on KBS2 program Entertainment Relay- Guerilla Date’s May 16 broadcast. He said, “[She is] a good person who knows how to love and take care of not just me, but all those around her. There’s so much I’d like to do for her if I was a regular person (as opposed to a celebrity) but she’s understanding of what I can’t do. I’m grateful that she is always by my side to give me strength. I love her.”
