This morning Yonhap News released an extensive interview with YG Entertainment founder and CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, in which he stated YG will be intensively focusing on WINNER and iKON in 2017.
In the interview Yang Hyun Suk stated, “This year’s biggest focus is iKON and WINNER. Both teams will release new singles in March. Now that we’ve successfully debuted our newest girl group BLACKPINK last year, we will be devoting our all our affection to the two teams.”
Yang Hyun Suk compared his strategy to that of a farmer’s, saying, “I think of myself as a music farmer. A true farmer doesn’t envy the fruits of the neighboring orchard, but instead is intent about finding good seeds. It is fun to reap [the fruits of labor], but I feel it is even better to cultivate them. These talented kids are like good seeds.”

and im not saying the 2 groups should never interact, what im saying is that YG should focus first on giving both groups proper comebacks and give the fandoms the chance to grow.
If YG had played his cards right and had properly promoted both groups to the fans content, he would be able to do special projects with both groups and Blackpink would be able to join on it. like imagine if he made something similar to BBx2NE1 Lollipop or SM station with his newer acts?
also i don't understand why im getting all mad when i shouldn't blindly believe anything than comes out of YG's snake mouth OTL

Winner and iKon will be the focus of YG in 2017 so they can start working on their albums. They will release their albums on March 2018...2019...2020 not really sure of the year but month has been identified.
If both groups will release an album this March...I dunno. I guess he's confident about their capabilities and fandom. Coz its pretty obvious whatever YG groups release will sell.
