iKON's Full Performance on 'Heroes of Remix'

PSY and iKON appeared on the first episode of Jiangsu Satellite TV’s “The Remix”, which was aired on June 19. “The Remix” is a survival show in which musicians rearrange famous Chinese songs into EDM style songs. The show was very much anticipated by Chinese viewers even before its premiere.

PSY participated in the show as a mentor along with Wang Leehom, Phoenix Legend, and Harin. Using his excellent producing skills, he helped iKON and SNH48 win and go on to the semi-finals.

PSY has known iKON members since they were trainees, and he was the one that suggested iKON should be on the show. PSY and iKON had a lot in common in terms of music, and the chemistry between them made iKON put on one of the best remix performances ever.

On the day of the competition, iKON performed Wang Feng’s “Beijing Beijing” with accurate dance moves, extraordinary energy, and fabulous stage manners. They succeeded in sweeping the judges and the audience off their feet and won the votes for the first place.

After the show was aired, iKON ranked high on Weibo’s realtime keyword search rankings. The rating for “The Remix” also posted 0.9%, putting the show on the third place among Sunday’s variety shows.

Furthermore, iKON became no.1 on the popularity vote of “The Remix” artists conducted by China’s Kugou Music with 30.65 million votes.

My boys....they have been on a tour on like 2-3 hours of sleep, haven't been in Korea for a month now and they still managed to kill. Not only the dancing was on point but vocals too. Baby Chanwoo improves more and more each day...

I can't understand why the choreo for their actual releases has been so lacking thus far? They're clearly great dancers
