i had really low expectations, cause the last kpop thing i watched was the sbs gayo mess.... maybe cause of that, but this one seems to be actually put together and well thought out. or maybe it's actually good.
so far only watched exid, exo, shinee, nice overall.

Yonghwa needs a rest. Everybody needs a rest. Some groups performed at all three Gayo Daejuns, and prepared different dance breaks and stuff for each show, in the middle of their overly packed schedule. Some groups are in the middle of their jap promotions, their world tour, filming their variety show, or whatever. Let the poor kids have a day off.

Didn't like Gfriend's pre-recorded perf, too many faceshots, i want to see the dance!

During 4minute's song, Jiyoon looked uninterested or pissed, I can't decide.

I really like Hands up, but this remix didn't deliver. They made an upbeat song kind of draggy and boring.

While watching the stream, I learned that Love Equation is an actual song Vixx promoted and not just a special cover. I'm glad I never checked their perf during LE era, because never again. I have nothing against upbeat and cheerful or cute songs, but... just not this one.

Lovelyz' styling was... bad.

Not a fan of ballads, but I really like BTOB's song. The gospel kids though. LOL

GENIE >>>>>>>>> LION HEART.

If Exo was gonna pre-record everything, could have done just one song, and save the screentime for people who were actually available there.

The extra prerecorded stages were unnecessary, couldve used that time for something else like more special stages or full performance.

Wonder Girls was the best performance of the night. The slayage is on levels idek how to put into words.

Cringe-worthy things tonight were : JYP, those pseudo MVs performances (Gfriend, call me baby), VIXX's 80's electro pop song and Jongkey's sweater during View. Also AOA's outfits but that might just be me.

Good things were : most of the rest tbh. Good show overall tho the code word for the special stages was obviously cavity-inducing-cuteness and sometimes it was just a tad too much for me. Also, most of the ~sexy~ performances fell flat for me. see Got 7 for example. That remix did nothing for me :/

Oh my Girl were really cute. I wanted them to perform Closer but they did really well with Cupid. I can't remember the main vocal's name but she sounded really good.

4minute slayed. Sohyun looks too hot for this planet. What else is new?

BTS were awesome during both stages. I was really pleasantly surprised to see Yoongi on the piano and Jungkook dancing the intro (when it's clear he's not the best dancer in BTS). JK struggled a little less with Rapmon's part of Run today than yesterday. He'll probably have it mastered the day Rapmon is back. Perfect man was, well, perfect. Jimin totally stole the show. He sounded amazing and, boy does he know how to work fans up.

Infinite : Out of the three Gayos, I liked yesterday's remix the most but still, they killed that stage. Sunggyu was on fire. I can't find the vid anymore (I'm lazy tho) but they sang live today, didn't they?

Shinee were awesome too. Taemin looked sort of high at the beginning but he still rocked that choreography. The fanchants were crazy <3

Finally SNSD were once again not my cup of tea. I agree with everyone that Genie would have been the better option for the ending song but I didn't really like that remix they performed. MBC labelled it the sexy version or something but idk, it feels like they've done much better sexier version than this one in the past.

WonderGirls ALWAYS slay when it comes to the Gayos, past and present. theyre always the first artists I go to watch because they always got top notch remixes/performances

You can always tell which songs SNSD as a group and individuals like and which they don't. Not my favorite remix of Genie, but at least they were present. They should made CMFYC their exit song for all them. They could have had lionheart, party adn genie still be the leads in.


Anyone else annoyed BAP and EXO are an Avengers and Wonder Girls are not? Especially BAP. Exo pretty darn popular so I get why they want to shove them in the end, I know adn I am glad BAP is back, but come one WG have been around since 2007 and have grown as artist continually. Plus they really needed another girl group in that section. (I would take 4 minutes in there as well)

That remix of Seventeen's Mansae is everything, I like their outfits too (well, most of them lol). Infinite was great, their singing was good, dancing was great, prob my fave performance of the night. Monsta X's stage was nice too, the intro reminded me of Exo lol. Perfect Man is one of my fave Shinhwa songs so I enjoyed BTS's cover of it. Other groups that I dont usually listen to, like Wonder Girls, Sonamoo, BTOB, BAP, etc had really good performances as well.

Anyway, favourite performances: Oh My Girl, Seventeen (these kids are so energetic!), Shinee, SNSD's Genie, B1A4, trot songs (sorry not sorry), Mamamoo, Infinite, Zion.T, BTS's Perfect Man and of course, Wonder Girls. I enjoyed this show quite well in general.
