Exo performing right before Infinite made Exo look really bad.

I said that in the livestream, but honestly, it wouldn't have changed anything if Infinite performed before Exo, The difference in level is just too big to go unnoticed. LOL

ugh, EXO were struggling so much vocally and most of them looked like they couldn't care less about the dance either. It saddens me to say that but maybe they should stick to lipsynching, they used to deliver with their choreography :(

All in all, I pretty much enjoyed the show, despite the overload of bland ballads. The ending was such a bore too :/

Infinite had the best stage imo. They're such excellent performers. I just don't get why they're not more popular. BTS, GFriend, EXID and Shinee were really great too <3

And Kudos to Solar, Choa and Solji for that amazing collab. They sounded so good!!

Hmmm... I think it might have to be because Infinite doesn't get the same amount of exposure as other groups. They used to promote as crazy (even more than BAP and BTS) but tey've reached a stage of their career where they can afford to release one album per year and be done with it. So, I guess that a lot of new people entering the KPOP fandom won't hear about them, and when they finally make a comeback, they won't be curious to bother taking a look at them (i.e I notice only Inspirits will check the posts on Infinite Showtime, their new variety show). Also, people introduced to KPOP will be given the usual suggestions (SMe groups, Big Bang, and the current trending rookie groups) and be satisfied with the selection. Or people just don't like their music. That's the only explanations I have, I mean, it's not like they're lacking in the dancing, singing or visual departement. lol

i kinda hoped for some twist (like that intro during sbs gayo) but it was a good performance overall. they looked more comfortable that during sbs gayo too, i can't at sbs refusing to apologize :/

It was my first time streaming live and I have great fun in comment section :)
I love most of the girl groups performances and collabs, it was really gg year, Infinite are great live performers, so do Shinee, I don't know CNBlue as performed to well but is Yonghwa usually this bad live? And ending was really, really anticlimactic, like I said in streaming post it looks like the old guy didn't want live the stage and they didn't know how to stop him without causing fuss.

Yonghwa's voice was really bad. The boys just finished 2 tours at the same time (arena tour in Japan to promote Japanese album + Asia tour to promote Korean album) and I think his throat needs rest.
He can be a great singer at times, really, but whenever he's tired you can hear it. Today he sounded terrible.

I see that Gayo Daejun producers still love to zoom out whenever there's a dance break or when the dance is the key point.

I was disappointed with the dance collab. It was messy on VIxx' part. I wish the three groups danced together more than just a minute.

BTOB sounded really nice. Although that bicycle entrance was lol.

They shouldn't have picked Yerin for the Red Velvet x Gfriend stage.

Is Yongwha sick or something`? His voice was kinda terrible... Ali too.

I wish SNSD performed You Think. I know it flopped, but you know, they were the closing idol group, could have ended it with a bang.

The closing made me wish Big Bang or Psy had been there. At least it would have been fun.

You Think as an ending would KILL it bc it's so strong. At the same time I would want them to lip sync it bc I'm not hear for that live shrilling. I also live for the splits Seobb does. But if flopped so bad. They should just perform CMIYC as an ending instead of Lion Heart.

I quite enjoyed this but the amount of ballads started bothering me toward the second half of the show.
All in all I enjoyed the girls a lot more than boys this time, their collabs were livelier by far and I enjoyed all their group stages too (except SNSD).
Of the boys I enjoyed SHINee (and Jjong's solo), INFINITE, VIXX (maybe), BTS (plus Zion.T and Kookie).
The ending dragged on far too long, bless SHINee for going nuts.

I haven't watched all the performances yet but everyone I've seen so far looks exhausted or trying very hard to look like they're having fun. I also got the impression that no one could hear themselves sing, the backing tracks were prob too loud, and the monitors weren't working properly. Taeyeon even tossed her earpiece lol. I wonder if they were getting feedback? a lot of artists seemed to be having sound issues. Idk this event just seemed messy

The effect they used for EXID and SHINee's performances were beautiful. Esp EXID in the beginning, I was; HUH? Where is the real one?

i actually watched the whole thing (well ok more like listened to the whole thing) because it was a very convenient time for me but now it's late and i don't feel like commenting on everything like i did during the livestream. short version:

most girlgroups did very well
sonnet song is everything i wish to be tbh
that version of 'bad' was great. i think i've only listened to the original twice? but i loooved this performance (who's the blond guy with a great voice?)
exo looks dead
bts looked sad without namjoon, especially in the 'run' performance D: poor dude. swing version of 'dope' was awesome tho
it was cute how snsd changed the lyrics in party

I feel really bad for EXO. They really look like they need rest asap. Most of them looked like they prefered to be anywhere else but there.
It was considerably better than the other day's show tho. Gfriend, AOA, Infinite and SHINee never fail to deliver but it was pretty good in general except that boring ass ending with that grandpa.
