But how come there were so many articles about 4minute slaying when they are doing rather poorly both in physical and digital charts?

The articles were mostly 'sponsored' by Cube or written by resident pominit stans. They're doing especially poorly when you consider the constant rumors that Brave Brothers has been manipulating the digital sales for tracks produced by him and Cube have been buying back their artists' physical albums. If there's really some manipulation going on this time then it doesn't seem to be that successful atm. To be fair, the mini was released towards the end of the month and maybe the title track will perform a little better on the digital charts in the long run because it's still in the top 10 in a lot of real-time and daily charts.

Hopefully baby girls will get their spotlight soon. Each of them has solo activities and a group show so I guess we will have a f(x) comeback soon. It takes 5 years for SM to push SHINee so....I guess they take turn.

Ouch @ some of the poor full album sales, Lee Hi's and Girl's Day's for example. That always must be kind of painful for the companies from a financial point of view, much more so than flopping mini albums because these aren't as expensive to produce with fewer songs on them.

I think YG really made mistake in not getting Lee Hi to do more radio and tv shows and performing her non title tracks more. Even releasing a youtube video with snippets from all songs could have helped her sales. But anyhow her sales are still excellent for non-idol female solo rookie artist.
