crying nut has all the rights to fight for what is rightfully theirs, but they are going over bosrd against cnblue, it not like they went to a cave and evil laughed over their plans to steal their music.

the biggest mistake was from a company trying to profit from a cover without clearing it up with the original artists, but i doubt that cnblue acted the way they claim in this, artists cover others artists all the time.

Profit was for Mnet, Mnet released the DVD to get additional profit of all of CNBLUE's stages in M!countdown. FNC didn't authorize it and didn't get any profit of that DVD, it was all for Mnet.
FNC even asked fans to not buy it, they released official notice in their page saying they weren't involve in the production or distribution of that DVD.

really? Damn...that makes Crying Nut so pressed & vindicative. I just read the statement from FNC. When I read their statement after MNET take responsibility over this whole thing, I already thought they sounds so pressed and wonder whether they will accept if FNC issue an apology. I guess my initial reaction is correct.

I know they wanted to protect their copyright and whatnot but they already received compensation from MNET? What exactly they want from CN Blue? Money?

I hate their comment about Cnblue not apologising, when they already have, infact Cnblue have been apologising for their existence since their debut. I'm all for "indie music" but to go full on after a band trying to survive is so vindictive to me.

Also their comment about CNBlue just fake strumming along should be aimed at Mnet, and all the music shows for not supporting live music, how that is the fault of CNblue. Also rookie groups have to do what Companies tell them, otherwise they hold grudges. To demonise Cnblue as some evil band infringing on their rights is such misinformation that this is really coming off as some lame attempt to gather the hipster army against Cnblue.

Also Crying Nut, noone thought Offside was their song mate, give it a rest. Like noone can cover songs anymore without it being somehow stealing.

Keep trying though, this has just made me want to protect CNbue and I love indie music more than anyone.

mte. CN Blue keep getting dragged into some mess. My heart aches for them really. I don't understand why after 2-3 years Crying Nut went all out asking for CN Blue's blood? They should makes the same noise when they received compensation from MNET but all that is done so quitely. This makes is looks so personal like they trying to ruin CN Blue or something. Crazy Nut is acting like they want to destroy them, it's really not fair because the responsability is on Mnet. It really breaks my heart to see them suffer yet again for something that isn't even their responsability.

What a rookie was supposed to do? they have to do what their are told by the station or get banned, M!countdown requested the song, provided the AR sound and failed to credit. It's their negligence.

Yonghwa said in his Gaon acceptance speech: "In 2013, I wish for CNBLUE to be loved more as a band." ....i guess that's not gonna happened thanks to Crying Nut.

Me too, why did they brought this up now when they got compensated in 2011-2012? why not do it then? Their deal with Mnet was pretty hush hush, no sue involved, but with CNBLUE they go witch-hunt mode on.
They have succeed to discredit CNBLUE, the few credibility among knetiz that they started to gain with this comeback is probably gone. Even if Crying Nut loses on trial, which is highly possible, damage is done.
It's like they know Mnet is to blame but still go at them to prove something...probably That they are not worthy of the title "band", to reinforce the thought in those who believe they are a fake band or just to prove that indies are superior and you shouldn't mess with them.

Never heard about Crying Nut... But reading this makes them appear pretty dislikeable to me and not only because I am a fan of cnblue. I personally think cnblue are not the one to blame. Therefore Crying Nut should welcome people covering their songs. I'm always a fan of songcovers and hearing them often makes me interested into the original. I discovered a lot of good bands and artists through covers so in my opinion it's a good thing for an artist to get covered! And doesn't there exist the wording "imitation is the highest form of admiration"? I think, sueing cnblue now really cries for marketing - a fo of marketing that's really aggressive and that I don't apreaciate. There really must be other ways to get noticed =(

Crying Nut is really living up to its name. Anyhow this is a stupid publicity stunt for their upcoming album and desperate try to cash into CN Blue's success (which definitely didn't happen because this performance, but their own songs).

Jesus Christ people, I'm only gonna give you guys the benefit of the doubt that you guys are international fans and don't know any better - Crying Nut does not NEED noise marketing. If anything CNBlue isn't even considered a band in the eyes of Crying Nut's target audience.

The issue is that even if it was the Mnet's fault, CNBlue and FNC hadn't taken responsibility for what is very disrespectful to Crying Nut; even their apology was half-assed: Crying Nut didn't even hear about the apology until it was in the news. I'm sorry, but it just looks like FNC is trying to hype up the issue more since they're the big company and have an advantage in media play.

Idk how these covers work, but given that Crying Nut aren't just crying foul over the DVD but also the actual performance, does this mean that in order to avoid this CNB would have needed to pre-record their OWN instrumental of Offside to use as a backing track during the performance (since crediting during the performance/broadcast would clearly have destroyed the illusion of them playing live)? Shouldn't someone have just told them that? They'd have needed to learn the song to hand-sync anyway.
