Haven't seen episode 2 yet, but these were some of my impressions from episode 1 copypasta'd:

Park Shin Hye is adorable and precious and I want to put her in my pocket
Enrique = Kwanghee of ZE:A. Seriously.
Kim Ji Hoon and his wing man/assistant are too cool for school despite being underdogs
The cinematography is very pretty and muted

Damn, that means KJH is gonna end up as the narrator of this one, right? Sigh.

I really liked the cinematography too. instead of being all bright and flashy like most rom/coms it seemed like a normal world, and I think part of it was how they filmed it.

after some of the (good) intensity/depression of School 2013, this is definitely a refreshing drama. i was actually laughing at some scenes.

I love her snarky thoughts too XD. Especially that 'conversation' she had with enrique.

Yoon Shi Yoon is like an adorable excited puppy, I can barely contain my feels! That scene right there when he glares at her in his panda hat is definitely my favourite scene so far.

And omg...I've been watching this show with Chinese subs...I could not, for the life of me, figure out what his name was until I read the recaps on Dramabeans. I almost thought his name was Anakin for some reason instead of Enrique XD

I am already head over heels for this drama. So far it's been really engaging. It's made me laugh and almost cry (the flashback and PSH's acting around it). I haven't skipped at all even though there are fast recaps on dramabeans. I really love DokMi already. I've never particularly cared Park Shin Hye in the past but she's won me over. I can really identify with the way she interacts with the world and I think everything about her is really relevant to a certain subset of society. She reminds me of Jung Ryeo-won's character in Castaway on the Moon except cleaner, less shut in, and with a closer object of affection.

I thought it was equal parts lovely and ridiculous the way Dok Mi and Enrique click right off the bat in the second half of the second ep. They're so in sync with each other. They both long after these people who aren't interested in them that way or don't know they exist but it's nice to think of love or any type of positive bond between two people happening naturally and almost instantaneously and not because of years of observation and idolization to the point of the loved one being put on a pedestal and perhaps even dehumanized. Like Jin Rak said it's sometimes easier to just be around the person you like (or watch them eerily through your window) than reveal your true feelings timidly.

But I think the point I was trying to make was that Jin Rak has been watching this girl for three years and doesn't get her at all but Enrique just met her and they're obviously perfect for each other. Jin Rak indulges and enables while thinking this is what will draw her out of her hermitage but Enrique is going to come through her life like a hurricane (or a hyperactive puppy I guess would be more appropriate) while somehow helping her heal whatever got broken by her past experiences with those who have hurt her. And not only that but they're going to help each other. She's silent because she can't find the words to express herself in the moment and he chatters endlessly to cover up what he doesn't want others to find out about his true feelings. They seem like opposites but they're really so similar, and hopefully they'll find a happy medium together.

Anyway so far I love all the characters. Even the mean girl is compelling because I want to find out what happened between her and Dok Mi and how she can act like everything's gravy when she was so terrible in the past. The editor and fake Siwon are hilarious. Watanabe is adorable. I feel like I'm hyping this show up a lot so if it gets shitty 6 episodes in I'll be pissed but for now I'll trust tvN.

This is exactly why Jin Rak is going to lose out to Enrique, and why Enrique is going to "deserve" her more. It hurts me to say that, cause you can tell Jin Rak really likes her, and has the best intentions. He's just going about it the wrong way. I feel bad for him :(.

I also think it's interesting to point out that regardless of how long two people know each other, doesn't always mean they understand each other. It can help, but isn't always the "law". Knowing someone for 3, 5, 10 years, doesn't guarantee you understand them.

Don't worry about it being long! I like deep discussion!

This was a surprise. Lovely looking, breezy, quaint yet so odd and ridiculous at the same time. I loved it, the drama looks gorgeous for one thing, without looking fake and silly, reminds me of Coffee Prince:_:

But what i love the most is Dok Mi, I like that she wasn't left at the altar or whatever and is a shut in because she likes her own company and is her own world most of the time. Also PSH is so cute here. YSY is cute too as is everyone. Can't for more eps.

I'm glad that I decided to proceed and watch the series despite of being very much contemplating whether to watch it or not at first. I mean, I was positive that it'll be uncomfortable for me to be watching a series where the main character is a peeping tom...merina? ugh. But it's Park Shin Hye and I can't resist it, lol.

I'm glad that she's caught red handed spying sooner than I thought and that she get to quit that immediately. I must say that I lol-ed at the scene where she was watching a news report about a boyfriend caught for installing a cctv in his gf house, and even commented about how people have nothing better to do, and she then grabs her yellow binocular. oh the irony.

After watching this, I can see that I can relate so much to Go Dok Mi. I found myself nodding almost everytime she was narrating about herself, her thoughts and all ;___;

I'm thankful that through this, I'm introduced to Yoon Si Yoon *_____* I can't believe it that this guy is not 17 because he surely looks like one , lol. He's 26, no? I can hardly compute that into my brain D:

Just finished this week's episodes, i gotta say it's Beautiful. Like watching the director of a movie suddenly decide to do a drama with his cameras and fancy edits. Or take a clip of some of these moments and boom, you've got a pretty commercial.

I'm not really allured to the plot yet, so not really invested in the drama. But these characters and this world has enough quirks that will keep coming back for more, and I appreciate that even minor characters like the editor have unique personalities. The way they do the storytelling already (less telling, more showing) already has me back for a few more episodes.

And man is it hilarious, those two gifs are just some of the good moments. Enrique and Dok Mi are such an odd pair but so fun together.

I love it!!! i'm like DokMi, i don't spy neighbors but sometimes i like obsv how others behave. I seriously need an Enrique in my life! eventhough i love Enrique's bubbly personality and his cute puppy reactions, i died when he was all over his brother, i feel like i'm gonna get second lead syndrome because i love Ji-hoon. Looking doward to the next episode.

Admittedly i really wasn't expecting much with this drama but decided to give it a try since SUFBB was so good and i loved it(the whole flower boy series has been quite flawless actually)

and i can just say that im loving it already :D i haven't even finished ep 1 yet but it's so interesting and im loving some of the characters in this already!

i cant wait to see how it pans out more in the future :)
