YG Entertainment’s financial report reveals some of the upcoming plans for 2013

Through a financial report, some of the details of the agency’s upcoming plans were revealed to insiders in finances.

One financial analyst gave a bit away as he commented, “A new girl group’s debut will take place in the first half of next year at YG, and Big Bang is expected to have a comeback in the fall. As this will be the agency’s first girl group in four years, it is significant… Compared to 2013, the agency expects to record a 30-40% growth in sales, and operating profits are also expected to jump 2-3% in points.”

He further added, “The sales for the last half of 2013 is expected to be about the same or even more than the first half… Psy will be releasing an album in the U.S. around February and March, and his world tour can be looked forward to. There will be a YG Family concert and also 2NE1‘s concert in the summer. ‘Superstar K1‘s Kang Seung Yoon will also be making his debut.”

The analyst expects that if Psy continues his success next year, and the agency continues to work with endorsers like they did with Samsung for Big Bang’s tour this year, YGE will be seeing a great increase in sales and more profitable cooperations.

I assume 2NE1's album will be in the first half of 2013, since they have a tour in the summer (a bit fast after the other tour, which I don't see coming to Europe apparently) and I would seriously just shake my head if they have ANOTHER tour with no new songs. YG did apparently learn from his mistakes not to release another date for something, since he probably (hopefully) knows he will probably postpone it again. I am really excited for the new girl group and I hope they have some good choreography (seeing that video of one of the girls, she can dance) and a good catchy song that makes them stand out and to not be compared to 2NE1.

There is no logic in it, that is the whole point. Since they had Nolza 2011 and New Evolution with the same songs (with the adding of ILY in New Evolution), which made no point whatsoever. And since YG's planning is questionable in the least, I can see him pull a stunt like that.

As long as the ladies of YG (ie Gummy, 2NE1, Supearls + YG GG) all get some sort of promo period I'm happy. But in all honesty, who the hell is stupid enough to believe that YG will stick to any of this. He might just be pull shit out of his ass, like always >>

Huh, Pledis seems to have all the boys (lulz, where is tempest and, what, 17? XD) while YG seems to have a bunch of girls locked up (YGGG, SuPearls, new2ne1 in 4 years or whatever--that has to be a different group than yggg, right?) It will be ages before they all debut.

(It's not like YG has released a new boygroup since BB either....)
