FLASHMOB - The last time the Trocadero place was filled that much, it was for the final campaign rally of presidential candidate Sarkozy in spring 2012. Monday, November 5, it is for a 34 year-old Korean that thousands of people gathered in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris.

Thanks to the school holidays, about 20,000 people (according to several participants on Twitter), were present at the call of the radio host Cauet on NRJ and danced in the early afternoon on the tube from PSY, whose clip Gangnam style has been viewed more than 650 million times on YouTube.

The "Gangnam Style" wave won Paris over. A flashmob organized by the radio host Cauet in Trocadéro (Paris) was attended by nearly 20,000 persons on Monday. A human tide, up to the global phenomenon that has even surprised the organizers of the event. Korean singer PSY conquered the planet since his video was posted on YouTube last July.

The video is closed to win a incredible title : most viewed video of all time on youtube. A record held previously by Justin Bieber with his "Baby" with some 796 million views. For nearly two monts, Cauet and his band from NRJ radio worked on a flashmob that took place under the Eiffel Tower. They even established a ritual beginning of each show with "la dance du cheval" (aka "the horse dance"), the French version of the comedy and choreography from "Gangnam Style". The cover was filmed and the video already hitted milion views on youtube. But they only knew the meeting place last Wednesday (= they were sure only last Wednesday about where the flashmob would take place). "At first we were very afraid that this does not gather enough people," explains Julie Tomassin, producer and host of the program. "But we honestly did not think that so much people would come. It was incredible." In the early afternoon, fans were already waiting fro PSY in front of the radio station. PSY is invited to Cauet's show tonight, starting at 21 pm.

At the origins of this strange dance, PSY's video parody the lifestyle of Koreans from the chic Gangnam neighbourhood, in Seoul. Since then, the entire world mimic the choreography's steps.

I fixed the mistake at the end ! I kept "danse du cheval" at first because that's how the radio host called and used it (with a translation next to it) but that's just a way to deal with the terms :)

I also hate Cauet. But the flashmob wasn't supposed to be that big, and it turned out like this (you're right, it's not a flashmob anymore, but everyone was so surprised). So many people dancing on Gangnam Style... I still have troubles believing it lol
