Date: 2012-11-02 11:01 pm (UTC)OK, so BTOB and BAP are killing it with their promos. Gah Daehyun get in me your voice is too goooood. Eunkwang too, his voice is amazing, but in I Don't Know Anything But Love, Changseob's chorus really gets to me.
Miss A's song is really a grower. The girls are having a lot of fun, love you Jia. Suzy looks really tired, and I can't say I'm surprised. Poor kid.
Girls Day's song is really nice, I love how they're being styled. MinAh's adlibs are awesome. Ailee however, takes the crown for being Queen of Adlibs, because girl be killing it anywhere, anytime. She is so precious, I hope she wins some awards this year <3
AoA's song still hasn't grown on me, but eh, they're all cute and Jimin is adorable as hell with her nasal rap <3
Last but not least, MY 100% BABIESSS!!! Why the hell did KBS cut my baby Hyukjin's adlibs so shortttt. They're what make this song >:( Anyway, this is the first time that traditional band has sounded compatible with any other group it has collabed with, and lol KBS what a shitty Halloween you gave - dem graphics at the back of 100%'s performance really made it feel like Halloween lmao

EXID. The 3 who sing are good (a couple are really good). At least the main rapper is clear, I just don't like how she sounds.
EXCITE. This song is sort of choppy... they seem to be decent singers but it's not so easy to tell. It's kind of catchy, though. I can't help wondering what a girlgroup would like doing this choreography. They don't have great stage presence.
Hyuna. Pretty bad. Not necessarily an easy song to pull off live, but... my expectations were low enough, actually.
K.Will. I like this song. It reminds me of something, though. I think it might be a T-ara song off their first album. XD;; (After checking, I'm thinking of You You You.)
Girl's Day. did well! I do like this song a lot more than... most of their other releases.
BtoB. I like the musical hook (I think that's what it is?) Huh, they're 2012 rookies? Thought they were around for longer. Looks like they've been pretty busy, considering.
AoA. Can't keep track of all these girls... as far as I can tell, 2 quite good vocalists, at least 1 intermediate, maybe 2 rappers I don't care about, and 2 really bad vocalists.
Toxic. Tiny bands can be kind of awkward to watch.
ChAOs. is ChAOs, now with revamped and equally dorky choreography! Hello random Ailee. They're never going to put down this dog, are they. Actually, this looks super awkward for her; she's a good sport. (Kind of like that time she featured in Secret Love, which was also totally awkward.)
Mr.Mr. Didn't some other nugu (... exid?) have a song with almost the same name earlier this year? I like this song though it's kind of the same all throughout; the singing all seems decent.
Wonder Boyz. ... it's good for what it is?
OFFROAD. Didn't I listen to these guys the last time I tried doing this? This is exhausting. A happy song! An outlier in this lineup. How are receptions to (boy)groups that start out with upbeat songs vs. those that establish themselves as... sort of cool and transition to "now we will show a new side of ourselves!"?

Conclusion: BtoB is fortunate to be a Cube outfit. Not that they aren't pretty good or anything, but I dunno how any of the rest of the nugus who aren't attached to labels with already-successful acts will fare.

I love this round of Girl's Day promotions, and stylists PLEASE keep these pastel, softer clothes. The sexy outfits don't fit the song at all. Minah remains flawfree, but ever since an Omona commenter pointed out how alike she and Eunji look I cannot unsee. I want them to go on a variety show or something together for an IRL comparison of the twin-ness.
Now is a good time to be me. Most of the groups I like are back with great songs.
