24k's Cory Praises Massachusetts K-pop Dance Crew!

On Saturday, October 20, K-pop dance crew, DBJ performed a cover of 24K's "Hurry Up" at the annual Asian Tea House at Smith College (Massachusetts, USA). 24K's Cory saw the video of their performance and tweeted a congratulatory message to the performers:


"Wow~! Seriously...it's not easy choreography...really cool performance thanks~!! Love it~ ^ㅁ^"

The dance crew is comprised of students from the five colleges in Amherst, Massachusetts: Smith College, Hampshire College, University of Massachusetts, Mt. Holyoke College and Amherst College. They perform K-pop dance covers throughout the area at various cultural events. Their youtube channel has all the action.

lol, i went to umass :3 i'm just hating cause mt. holyoke's campus is gorgeous while umass looks like...well a federal prison, to be kind.

i think it's so bananas that anything at all from amherst is relevant anywhere else in the world.

oh lol well i like umass haha. much better than smith lol. you guys are fun. i've been to many an asia night celebration haha. i was there EAACASU too. and for hilarious asian frat party experiences haha.

i don't really party and i could NOT hang with the asian greeks at umass. they were just way too hardcore for me lol. so, i just went to asian night celebrations cause they were always so fun.

but, i actually like smithies, some of my good friends are from there ;~; is there a holyoke/smith rivalry i know nothing about?

there's a rivalry, yeah. since we're both 7 sister colleges and the closest geographically so there's a lot of snarking lol. it's all in good fun though, and i really have no problems with smithies themselves, i just happen to hate this one prof there that nearly ruined my life smh. i love northampton though, it's my happy place when mhc gets too suffocating.

aahhhh, i see. now i know how to get a rise out of my smithie friends...sorry about that stank professor :/ i only ever took two classes there and it was from the same professor, so i guess i was lucky.

northampton is pretty cute. i miss wasting time in faces and that comic shop. then stuffing my face at all the yummy restaurants. i want to go back to simpler times...*sigh*

first name starts with n, last name is the breed of a bird, english professor. she pm made my life hell. idk if it was racism or mount holyokeism or both (she was just as terrible to another mhc girl who was also asian) she was like, fucking umbridge come to life, so much so that when hp7 came out a few months later i felt like i needed a fucking trigger warning. she accused me of academic dishonesty and i had to defend myself infront of the honor board and then when they decided i was innocent she pratically flunked me anyway because apparently i did te work wrong anyway. she's a legit psycho and i think she updates her rate my professors page because half of it is hate from students and then incredibly sycophantic comments that all sound the same. she is terrible and probably the only person i wish dead in this world. my friend is convinced she was bitter either because she was just waiting to die or because she hadn't had sex since the 70s lol. decrepit old hag.

but the smith support system was great though, my classmates were incredily supportive, so were the faculty on the honor board.

Ugh, yeah. That's just not right. I got legitimately failed by the lovely head of the smif film studies department through shenanigans, and was too sick to appeal, which sucked. But she pretty much just hated me for no clear reason. :/

Whenever I watch dance covers i can't help but pick them apart
i mean i'm not the best dancer
and they all did really well
just so parts were lacking flow with certain people?
