hmm what do you mean? I don't think his dancers from SK came with him. I follow a lot of the U.S.'s professional dancers on twitter and they've been tweeting all these Gangnam Style rehearsal pics back and forth.
I definitely recognize the two ladies beside him (they were in the MV too I believe) but I think they switched out some of the other dancers for a more diverse group.
Have to share a splendid anecdote: yesterday at my zumba class, how surprised was I when at one point point, I heard Psy's song blasting! I was the only one to scream like a lunatic and to do the choregraphy by heart with a big smile on my face^^ I even thanked her at the end of the class and she told me she loved the song, and her boyfriend dared her to make us dance on it lol. I say: challenge accepted! I precise that I live in France, that makes the story all the more savouring, at least for me^^
I like it for it's wackiness, and it's a pretty cute song I can understand why it went viral. I got a bit annoyed when it got big tbh, because a lot of people gave me the impression that they were laughing AT HIM. There was some racist undertones in some of the comments I've read "fat chinese dude" etc, and also articles likening him or korea to some things without doing any proper research (can't think of any off hand but I'm sure you can google and find some). And in my case there were a lot of poserish peeps who couldn't wait to jump on the bandwagon RT-ing every single thing about it that made me a little irritate plus it's been overplayed and hyped at most school events/cheering activities I've been to.
Maybe it's just me lol I do tend to dislike mainstream pop and their fandoms so I hope no one misunderstands. The good thing is that at least Psy's still playing it cool about everything. I'm happy that it gives k-pop a chance in the US market, though hopefully in future, in a different manner.
It helps that he's so talented. Also I loved that he was singing on a not so basic sound system, he sounded great. Now release Right now in English and kick ass Psy.
That's how you get a crowd livened up ;) Psy sure knows how to pull everyone on board with him when he performs. It makes me so happy to people just loving every moment of it with him ^^
