I really like this(!). It's interesting to listen to. Needs more acoustic guitar (and fewer Hongki shots, hahaha) - I was all NOOO at the chorus when the electric started leading, though at least they returned to the acoustic for the verses. xD
The chorus is similar, the verse not so much. Honestly, I think both of those songs are quite simple and unoriginal, so it shouldn't be hard to find many others sounding more or less the same.

I wish they would go back from time to time to making more gentle tracks with lots of acoustic guitar and violin. On the other hand rockish "I'm going to have you" is one of my favorite song ever so I'm not complaining;P.

I thought i was alone in the world, his voice sounds so whiny for my taste that i can't even stand it in some songs....he can turn an upbeat song really depressing and annoying but his voice for sad sad ballads is good...in FTI in prefer Jaejin's voice, he nailed that rap part which is the only part i loved.
That's interesting :D I don't think Hongki's voice suits all the songs he sings either, but for me it's slightly different - since Hongki's vocals are super-theatrical, when the song has instrumentation that is clearly meant to move you to tears or something (e.g. ~swelling violins~, ~soaring choruses~), I find that it all gets a bit much for me. But I find his voice okay on sad songs with sparser instrumentation/upbeat ones.

Oetoriya was my jam for the longest time. And actually, one of favourite albums of all time is their "First Step" album, whereas I've only liked the title songs for FTISLAND in 2012.
I can totally see why you love 'First Step' so much but I actually got a bit bored listening to it and never got back to it. The only song I like by them is 'I'm A Loner' and I actually hated that song till last year.
The thing with me is I just have a sudden change of heart about a song one day so maybe I'll actually give them a chance in the future.
I actually liked Hey You, detested In My Head, and now that I'm re-listening to the album, Still In Love is great (one of the two or three on the album that I liked).
Then again, I was only taking into consideration title songs. If we're talking albums, well, neither of their releases really stuck to me. Like I mentioned above, First Step is really special.
First time i find someone that detestes "In My Head" but i agree with you regarding First Step, every single song in that album was great if not awesome :)
Do not like chorus at all, bcs it's just sounds so cheap, familiar and nothing new at all. While verses are super cool, fresh and interesting. So I do like the song and do not like it at the same time o_O it makes me confused
