Rock band FT Island‘s lead vocal Lee Hongki admitted that he had gotten into an intense argument with former band member Oh Wonbin.
FT Island who recently made a comeback with their new album ‘GROWN-UP‘ guest-featured on the February 10th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘ and performed their previous hit “I Hope“, as well as their new song “Severely“.
When MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked if the members had ever gotten into a fight, member Choi Min Hwan answered, “Once Lee Hongki got into a really big fight with former member Oh Wonbin.”
Hongki went on to explain the situation saying, “One time we decided to cook five instant ramens and eat it all together. Wonbin was the only one who did not help prepare the food, but when it came time for us to eat, he came over with his chopsticks in hand.”
“So we began arguing, but I suggested we go outside to settle this so that our dongsengs did not have to witness our fight,” he continued.
After building suspense, Hongki caused the audience to erupt in laughter when he said, “So then the two of us went outside, but we just stood there, staring at one another. This was when we were trainees, and we agreed not to hit each other in the face because we needed to debut and be on TV.”
