연예기획사 큐브엔터테인먼트가 소속 아티스트 포미닛의 현아와 비스트의 장현승이 결성한 유닛 트러블메이커에 이어 또 다른 유닛을 준비 중이다.
기획사 관계자 포함 트러블메이커는 2일 오후 서울 여의도 메리어트호텔에서 기자와의 만남에서 곧 다른 유닛들도 선보일 예정이라고 밝혔다.
이날 관계자는 "유닛 시리즈로 트러블메이커에 이어 다른 유닛들도 곧 나온다. 남남, 여여, 남남여 등의 구성으로 준비중에 있다"며 "포미닛 비스트 지나로 만들어질 수도 있고 여기에 연습생이 들어갈 수도 있다"고 전했다.
큐브엔터테인먼트는 국내 혼성 유닛으로는 최초로 현아와 장현승의 트러블메이커를 공개했다. 퍼포먼스를 내세울 트러블메이커는 티저 영상으로 화제를 모으며 파격적인 키스 퍼포먼스를 선보인 바 있다.
장현승은 "첫 무대에서는 '마마'에서 보여줬던 키스 퍼포먼스 등 도발적이기보다는뮤직비디오에서 보여주지 않은 모습을 보여줄 예정"이라고 말했다.
타이틀곡 '트러블메이커'는 휘파람 소리의 인트로가 강렬한 인상을 남기며 펑키한 리듬, 세련된 멜로디가 강한 중독성을 지녔다. 팬들의 이목을 집중시킨 트러블메이커의 첫 무대는 4일 오후 SBS '인기가요'에서 공개된다.

[My Daily = Beak Solmi Reporter] Cube Entertainment is currently in the process of preparing another unit group after 4minute Hyunah and BEAST Jang Hyunseung’s unit group, Trouble Maker.
At a conference that took place on the 2nd, the staff of Cube had announced to the reporters that other subunit groups would be appearing soon enough.
On this day they stated, “As a unit series, after Trouble Maker, other unit groups will be revealed. We are preparing them in a male-male, female-female, and male-male-female fashion.” In addition they added, “The groups might consist of 4minute, BEAST, and G.NA or a trainee might also be appearing as well.”
Cube Entertainment had announced Hyunah and Jang Hyunseung as Korea’s first male and female idol unit group Trouble Maker. Trouble Maker plans to be performance centered and had gained attention with their kiss scene and scandalous teasers.
Jang Hyunseung had stated, “Instead of the kiss performance types we showed off at the ‘MAMA’ stage, we plan to show off a side we haven’t revealed on the music video.”
The title song ‘Trouble Maker’ leaves a strong impression with the whistling in the introduction and with a funky rhythm and melody. Their first stage will be on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 4th.
