[11.11.13] Junjin to be discharged from military service on 14 Nov… Shinhwa only has Lee Minwoo left to go
Shinhwa’s Junjin will return to Shinhwa after completing 2 years of military duty as a public service officer.
Junjin will be discharged from military service at a city management unit in Seoul with an official ceremony, on the morning of 14 Nov. With this, he ends his 2 years as a public service officer after completing his basic military training at the Nonsan Army Training Center.
With Junjin’s discharge, his fellow Shinhwa teammate Lee Minwoo will be the sole member still serving his military service. Lee Minwoo has been deployed as a public service officer since early 2010 and will be discharged from service early next year.
Earlier, Shinhwa’s maknae Andy was discharged from active duty in October.
With the Shinhwa members gradually returning from military service, much attention has been placed on their impending comeback early next year. Shinhwa debuted in 1998 and has since then kept their original lineup of Eric, Lee Minwoo, Kim Dongwan, Shin Hyesung, Junjin and Andy, become Korea’s longest-running idol group.
