G.NA's Thoughts on Kpop Masters

So we just had a little chat with Miss G.NA! Exciting right? And she ensures us that she’s very excited for the upcoming Kpop Masters concert, as we all are!
“Just wow!!” She breathes. “Very excited!! You know, I was checking twitter and someone retweeted something about ‘G.NA performing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas’ and I was like ‘yeaaaahhh right, this isn’t me.’ And then later I had a meeting with my company and they told me, ‘Oh we were gonna tell you tonight and this is what’s gonna happen and you’ve been invited!’ And I was like ‘Oh my god! What do I do! Who’s going?! I had so many questions. I still have so many questions! It was just really, really nerve wracking. It’s like a really really big stage. This can’t be just a normal G.NA performance. This has gotta be the ultimate G.NA performance.”Clearly, G.NA is really really excited for this concert. And she should be! One of the most unique aspects about G.NA is that, within the K-Pop realm, she’s one of the few successful solo acts that’s active right now! And among all the groups performing at Kpop Masters, she’s the only solo artist. So if you’re going, make sure to give her a lot of love and support! She’s even got something special planned. Any G.NIs in the house?
“I’ve been preparing something special for the crowd and hopefully they’ll enjoy it. But I think keeping it a secret for now is a good idea. What I can tell you is that I’ve always talked about doing something in English. Cause I do a lot of writing. I actually write a lot of the lyrics that are on my album.” She says with an all-knowing coy smile, “So you can expect a little something like that, maybe…”
In a way, for Cube fans, this concert is a real treat. The three main artists of Cube will be coming together on this stage! B2ST, 4Minute and G.NA!
“It’s always a special stage when our three teams are on the same stage together. We don’t often get to perform together, so this is really really exciting. Actually, I talked to them and they’re really excited too!”
“I was hoping Miss A would come! One of my closest dongsaengs is in that group. And Dong Bang Shin Ki will be coming, which, they’re amazing…” She laughs jokingly, “I didn’t know MBLAQ was even coming!”
G.NA is a busy girl! She’ll be performing in Kollaboration on November 5th at the Nokia theater in LA, and this comes after another recent performance in LA at NetKAL. After this, she’ll return back to Korea for even more activities. Ultimately, G.NA just wants to be G.NA. She wants to have fun and she wants everyone else to have fun along with her!
“I’ve just been thinking about having a lot of fun that night and I want to show people, whether it’s a Korean or American crowd, I just really want to show that yeah, I speak Korean, I look Korean and yet I can sing in English and Korean. And I can have fun! The main important thing is just having fun! Hopefully something will be remembered of G.NA after that night! ❤”
