Hongki performance was beautiful. The emotion were perfect. And he actually trot-ing in some part of the song /the solo guitar by Jonghoon is <3
I pleasantly surprise with GO.. I like his voice, A LOT :) I love his falsetto :). He is good, but sometimes, less is more. That's why Hongki win imo.
Junsu is stabil in high note, but in lower or middle one, his end note tend to waver, and I notice he tend to shake it instead of adding vibrato in it, Genuine question, is there a vocal term for this technique? BTW, the backing vocal for Junsu was awesome..
only watched Junsu's performance so far. That was so amazing. His rapping is a little rusty from lack of practice but he's sooooo good. He is such a talent and such a performer. Stanning for life. Jun.K all the way!
Compared to the last two episodes I think this one was better in quality. Also a lot rock into it. Lovely!
Hyorin was very boring and calculated in comparison to the rest. Come on girl, stop thinking, start risking and try yourself out. The results can be awesome.
Jiyoon - at the start I found her pretty weak, but when she got into the upbeat part I really enjoyed her performance, also vocal-wise. I start to think Cube completely uses her vocals wrong.
Changmin - Oh hello ^-^ he always manages to have something gentleman-tic about his performances and that pleases women of all ages, let's not lie. This one was rather...I could say subliminal sensual, I liked that. Singing was nicely done, but since I know his singing by now, I didn't expect less. Let's see if he can make me expect MORE.
Junsu - I also belong to the people who like to hear him rap. It sounded nice and fitted in. Actually he is really playing around and trying out, makes a story line on stage, raps and sings, entertains. I felt very sated after his performance. Chance's bias were really cute.
Hongki - Britpop. What a wonderful idea and what a wonderful translation of it. I loved the feeling the whole song gave and had a "What? The song is already over O_O ?" moment. Hongki managed to show his vocal abilities well, he works with people he's comfortable with and the results are always really great. I'd buy that song from FT Island if they ever made a studio cover of it. Win is justified as it can be.
G.O. - Jesus Christ did he surprise me. I always liked his voice and knew his technique is not bad, but I found his voice a little "not special" so to say. The whole music arrangement compliments his vocals well and I really, for the first REALLY fell in love with his voice. It makes me feel less bad of an A+ now. He showed what he is capable of (another company seems not to use that voice in the right way) and I hope to see more of that within the next episodes. And in MBLAQ too *keeps dreaming* This was my personal favorite of all performances though Hongki is very close.
Next week, the male SINGER edition and I am already torn when I see the line up. Kim Taewoo, K.Will and Wheesung, then all the awesome sunbaes...how am I supposed to survive that? I know K.Will won't win (he'll still be my #1) but I am interested what each singer will contribute. I'm pretty sure they'll show the participating idols that they need to work even harder to get recognized as singers.
OMG Junsu, why are you like this! I had to pause in the middle of his performance because I was that freaked out by it, too much for my poor little heart to handle. Junsu has finally pushed me into full on bias mode. Damn it I need an icon!
All the guys were ON FIRE in this week's competition!!!!! WOW!!!!!! The girls were good to but seriously WOW THOSE BOYS!!!! Tbh I was starting to loose interest a little over time with this show because the last couple of weeks didn't impress me quite as much as the early ones but this got me excited all over again ^^
And is that a preview of next week's show at the end??? Is it??? Cos there are some awesome people being shown on the screen at the end there!!!
Jun.K, how did you know that I love boys who can rap and play the drums? Why you make me love you so much? HOTNESS. And his perf was so much fun! Nice to see him loosening up.
