Lee Jung-hyun is taken + reason for comeback

It looks like the pint-sized singer Lee Jung-hyun aka Ava is no longer on the singles market.

On the June 11th episode of KBS2 ‘Happy Together’, Lee Jung-hyun revealed that she is currently in a relationship but is not thinking of marriage, as of yet. When asked what her lover does for a living, she stated, “He runs a finance firm overseas”.




During the talk segment, Lee Jung-hyun also shared her story of running into a number of bandits in the woods, on her way to a small city for a concert in China. How did she manage to get away alive and return to Korea? Well nothing much actually, all she had to do was sing her hit-song ‘Wa’ for them live. The girl was definitely lucky to be famous enough that these bandits knew who she was and actually liked her enough to let her go. It’s great that she was let by safe and sound but don’t these bandits seem a bit phony to you? Normally, people would think bandits would ask for a lump sum of money and THEN let the hostages go, especially when you have a celebrity for hostage, but not in this case.





Singer Lee Jung Hyun revealed the reason to why she decided to make a comeback only after 2 years and 7 months.

She was on KBS ‘Happy Together Season 3′ when she said, “I comeback during this blank period so that the staff of fanclubs for the WonderGirls and So Nyeo Shi Dae will come back.”

When asked “What is different about Korea now that you are back after so long?”. She said, “All these while I had been active in China and I earned a lot of money, working very hard. The staff from my fanclub had changed.”

“President of my fanclub had become the president of So Nyeo Shi Dae fanclub, and the staff of my fanclub had went to WonderGirls’ fanclub. Because of that I thought I had better come back.” rousing laughter from the others present on the show.

what... the... fuck. i highly doubt most people in METROPOLITAN chinese cities know who she is, so for her to say she escaped this small city by singing her "hit" song is ridic to me.
