Four member mixed gender group B2Y will be returning with a new image as a male group soon.

According to their agency, To Be Continue Group, B2Y will be putting forth a more luxurious image that focuses on their vocals, and are scheduled to return by the first half of this year. The group is a project group from three different entertainment agencies.

Former member Han Yeon, who made an acting debut as Yoo Hee’s brother last year through “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” will be leaving the group in order to further pursue acting, and Jinwoong is joining the army in March.

The two female members, Seoyeon and Nara, were thrown out by their agency and are currently undergoing a lawsuit. One representative revealed, “Recently, there has been rumors regarding the group’s disbandment, but those are not true. We are changing out the members and starting the group anew. They will be promoting by the first half of the year with an impressive new vocal line. The boys are preparing for their debut with strict rehearsals.”

He continued, “B2Y’s former members, Seoyeon and Nara, have done something that no longer allows them to be a part of the company and are being sued. Out of the two, Nara especially has done something extremely scandalous that can never earn her forgiveness as a female singer. We had no option but to throw her out of the agency.”

This is old news but I was curious about the situation with this group and this is ridiculous. imo, if they're switching out all the members and all the new members are male I don't see the point of keeping the name B2Y -.-; And I'd still like to know what's up with the two girls. They were really good singers T^T

I saw them at Arirang's M-Wave a few times and they put on a good diva-ish performance. (Actually the boys were more diva-like than the girls lol.) Unfortunately the girls were sickeningly thin - they made SNSD look like whales. I wasn't sure whether to feel sorry for them, or to be disgusted that they were allowed to promote with their bodies looking so starved. It definitely went beyond he usual 'idol' thin level when viewed as close up as we were.

Since the company is suing the girls, I'm surprised netizens haven't found out yet. Maybe the lawsuit is vague for now (for breach of conditions in their contract) and the full details will only come out later.

There's nothing confusing or weird about this statement for me. Kpop groups are what the company makes them, not the members. I figure most members of most groups are interchangeable. The group/group name belongs to the company, not the members themselves. They're just pretty faces to fill a spot.
