I love love love Jung Hye Young’s simple black dress. Though what’s up with the color? Black? To a wedding? O_O what’s wrong with these K-celebs! They wore pretty dresses for the Awards show, but very simple not-for-special-occasions dresses to attend a wedding! >_> snap!

The same date as Shinae’s wedding, but their guests who came were like 5 times more than Shinae’s (I still can’t find Alex’s picture at the wedding, nor Solbi’s, Kim Ah Joong’s… and probably never will)

I'd say most of them are dressed appropriately... with the exception of Gong Hyo Jin & Ryu Seung Beom (seriously kids, wft? you're not going to the movies)... from what I know of western weddings, no one is supposed to overshadow the Bride, and I can't imagine that it's much different in Korea. Dress down, and let the beautiful bride shine!


Also, why do they even let Andre Kim out of the house? LOL. He looks like a Batman Villain.

I don't understand Korea at all.

It's all about respect, and being curteous to everyone and making sure to use the proper honorifics for whom ever your talking to but then they go to a wedding in blue jeans and sneakers. Really Korea? REALLY? I MEAN ITS A FREAKING WEDDING. I SWEAR TO GOD THE AWARD SHOWS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN THE FREAKING WEDDING.

And another thing, you talk about respect and culture-ly how respectful Korea is but they allow Jaejoong to come to a award show in pants and a furry (PITA IS CALLING JAEJOONG!) long ass jacket. That's okay but you don't call someone an honorific its against the rules.

I'm used to seeing people dressed very casually to weddings in Korea (I think Kangin wore sneakers+jeans+blazer once), so now I'm more surprised if someone is well-dressed XD

I guess it varies depending on country, in my country some of those outfits would be very inappropriate because if you are female you are expected to put on your best "happy summer" type of dress (just nothing completely white) and wear high heels, and males are expected to wear nice jacket, trousers, and dress shoes (jeans and sneakers are pretty much totally out of question).

I don't think the black is because of the late president b/c if you look at other weddings, the guests wear mostly black too.

I'm fine with black as long as it isn't worn with pearls - then it really looks like you're going to a funeral, not a wedding. Lee SooKyung could recycle her outfit for a funeral ^^;;

I have no problem with Ryu SeungBeom and Gong HyoJin's casual outfits (above the knee anyway, those shoes O_O).
I think it's better to wear this than a smart but very tight or very short outfit which overshadows the bride.

i've seen a couple of posts of wedding guests and always think half of the outfits are totally 'wtf, I would not wear that to a wedding.' But koreans be crazy and thats why we love them.

In Korea, the traditions are different. Women actually wear white hanbok to funerals. Black is not necessarily a colour of mourning...
