BTS' Jimin tested positive for Covid-19 & got surgery for acute appendicitis

Yesterday, BTS' member Jimin was diagnosed with accute appenditis and got tested positive for Covid-19. He had surgery early today and he's recovering.
He is the fourth member to get tested positive for Covid-19 after Suga, RM and Jin.
Rumor has it BTS doesn't have any public schedule planned until their March concerts in Seoul.

We would like to provide you with the following information regarding the current health status of BTS member Jimin.

Jimin experienced sudden abdominal pain along with a mild sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon. He visited a hospital emergency room for thorough examination, and also took a PCR test. Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and was tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following physician advice early morning on Monday, January 31.

According to the medical staff, the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with postoperative care. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery, and had no contact with the other members during the infectious stage.

The company places the artists’ health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Jimin in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the health care authorities.

god, that's so much to deal with at once.
i hope he recovers quickly from his appendectomy and takes it easy for the next few weeks. and i hope that the sore throat is the only covid symptom he has!
hopefully wherever he is he has a private room. i know hybe can afford it but i'm just not sure what the procedures would be since he tested positive for covid.

They announced it at the end of their last LA concert on December 4th, everybody thought they would announce an album but nope. There was this undying rumor that they wanted to wait until the Grammys but they got postponed so who knows anymore.

My nephew's classmate/friend had the same. They wouldn't do his surgery until he tested negative for covid. I wonder if it had to do with his age.
