I don't like Coldplay (as bland as bland comes) so this isn't for me either lol, but it's a major step up from it-that-shall-not-be-named. Jungkook's and V's voices sound so so good though! I wish Big Hit would quit the autotune and the weird unnatural pitches and just let them sing like this always. They're wasting their best voices and I just...don't get it. I know nothing about music or singing but straining their voices can't be good for them in the long run, no?

i remember a few years ago bts released teasers for a drama project or something? (i actually don't really remember what it was for, maybe a comeback?) and every member had a small mini-drama video starring a girl that was a suggested love interest. i wasn't really in the part of the fandom to directly experience it but apparently quite a big part of the fandom had a complete meltdown and nothing every really happened with the project if i recall correctly

Itās so weird to hear you say people had a melt down with them interacting with the girls in the MV. The majority of the people I saw started to Stan the girls in the MV. I think 2 or 3 of them are now in Itzy. I know for sure its Ryujin that Hobi carries and I think another girl was Yuna. And bts started out with girls in multiple MVs Boy In a Luv and some other MV. Oh and War of Hormone LOL.
On a tangent I think the criticism they got with War of a hormone made them wary of interacting with women and also wary about writing about love or sexual attraction. They started talking about love in really esoteric inspirational ways. They didnāt want to be accused of being demeaning misogynistic to women but they went too far the other direction and just cut women out completely. Kinda stupid if you ask me

This song is ok. The best part for me is that they are singing in a range that actually shows they are good singers. In the documentary you hear them recording in the studio booth and harmonizing and Iām like wtf they sound so good. So why are they constantly made to sing out of their natural vocal range? Iāve heard them say many times that the key was raised on their songs because their producers think it sounds ācharmingā to sing that high. Thatās bs. The song is mostly Coldplay and their vocals and harmonies are too hidden in the mix for me. The acoustic version brings them forward a but itās just whatever.
Iām tired and ready for them to release their own music again and not this bs that their label thinks people want from them. Yeah if you give a song radio play and playlisting itās going to do better than their other songs. This has been the longest time between albums for them and I annoyed lol.

This is the first time I listens to the song and itās likeā¦inoffensive lol. Like it was made to be a concert song so thereās that. My Dad would like this but heās also 60+ and a fan of Coldplay so... All I can say is that they look good and Iām suing BigHit/Hybe for always pitching their other songs higher and higher when they sound so good in their own range. Taehyung and Jungkook sound amazing and the overall harmonies are actually mixed well.
