Ed Sheeran has written another song for BTS!

Ed Sheeran took part in an interview with the American radio show “Most Requested Live” to speak about his new single “Bad Habits” on June 26 (local time). He revealed, “I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well.”

On June 27, a source from Big Hit Music stated to Newsen, “It is true that Ed Sheeran is participating in BTS’s new song.”

BTS has a CD version of their chart-topping English-language hit “Butter” coming up in July, and Big Hit Music previously announced that it will include brand new track that “will make your heart beat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy.”

It is unclear if BTS’s new collaboration track with Ed Sheeran will be included in the CD version of “Butter” or if it will be part of a different album that will be released in the future. When asked if the song will be released in July, Big Hit Music commented, “We cannot confirm the details.”

Ed Sheeran and BTS’s first collaboration song was “Make It Right” from BTS’s 2019 album “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

I like "Make It Right" haha (I'd take 100 "Make It Right" to a "Dynamite" and "Butter" lol) and from what I read Sheeran seemed to know how BTS worked on their songs.

I like these kind of collabs where the other artist doesn't sing haha because that leaked tiny part from their Coldplay's collab sounds borind af.

Also same about liking Make it Right more than Dynamite and Butter (big nope for me). I became a fan after MOTS7 but I haven't really liked anything they've released since I became a fan lol (hmm telepathy would be the exception). So, and I can't believe I'm saying this, hope Ed Sheeran delivers 😂.

Me too, I became a fan after I watched the « Black Swan » MV! But I liked « Be », « Blue and Grey » became one of my all time favorite songs! And « Dis-ease » is fun too.
I have high expectations for the next album so let’s hope 🤞

make it right is fine but also if the song suddenly stopped existing i would never be like wow i wish i could listen to make it right again and i don't think the new one will be any better. his recent solo song isnt even getting that much attention i dont want his rejects.

i dont care for collabs in general if i'm honest especially features on the actual song but i would make an exception for rina sawayama and her only. the way she and namjoon have a collab somewhere that looks like its never going to see the light of day......give me a collab with the whole group instead and i will forgive them both for abandoning it somewhere

i forgot rina sawayama and namjoon were hinting on working on something together, but that was actually the first time i was actually excited hearing of a non-kpop collab bts was planning. the rest of their collabs were always their weakest to me — never forget (nor forgive) that they worked with the chainsmokers

I'm with you on this one, OP. I just can't stand Ed Sheeran for some reason. As long as it's only a song he wrote and we don't have to hear him, it's fine by me.

I'm not mad at Make It Right. The softie in me decided they like it and I decided not to fight the softie in me anymore. The Lauv version is so nice and I wish it had more Lauv in it.

As for other collaborations, I'm up for anything that's not made simply to top the charts in the US.
