blue&grey is my favourite of these but its my favourite song from that album so it was always going to be and the set for it was very pretty too

I don't like Coldplay but "Fix You" is a beautiful song and they did her justice. Jungkook sounded really good! And the rap line doing the harmonies yes please!
I think they began to work on it in the end of September/beginning of October because we began to see clues in the ON:E concerts. With BE being a no choreo album, they didn't have to spend that much time in the dance studio. But I feel like the new album will have a TT with a hard choreo. Poor them lol

I never listened to Fix You much when Coldplay released it because I don't really care that much about their songs, but hearing BTS' cover gave me a new appreciation for the song.
I hate Chris Martin and his performative eco friendly bullshit but the lyrics for "Fix You" and the way they wrote the song for Gwyneth Paltrow after she lost her father, I mean it's cute.
Fix you was so beautiful!!!!! And the harmonizations were a wonderful touch! Bighit that’s how you do high notes not that madness you put BTS through in their own songs. I listened to dynamite after fix you and I was annoyed after the first few notes because the strain they have to put their voices under was so obvious
tbh seeing as Jin's bridge, which was literally the ONLY part of the song that was strained (I thought he did well otherwise but he should have stuck to falsetto instead of trying to "belt") got the most praise from armys, I unfortunately think Bang PD is onto something with his struggle high notes obsession. Those always get the most praise from the average fan on twitter and YT.
Yeah, his "belting" sounded a little strained but it's not the most strained he's sounded, so I'll give it a pass. However, I am over the struggle high notes. Let the boys sing in their natural register and reach notes that are actually in their comfortable range.
Fix You was great. I didn’t know MTV already spoiled it (not on stan Twitter so no clue what ARMY are mad about these days) so I was super surprised. V killed it at the end. The rappers singing sounded great, even Suga lol. I do however feel that Jimin and Jin need better vocal coaches, their plaintive tone evokes emotion but they also don’t sing very clear notes and it can affect the quality of their performance.
Other than that this was great. They do not have to keep performing Dynamite though. It’s clear that it’s their hype song cos they seem to wanna get up and dance but I could listen to something else from their album if they give it a chance.
From what I understand after doing a quick google coach, apparently Taehyung, Jungkook and Jin all have the same vocal coach as Kang Daniel and TWICE...Which, I have no idea if that is a good thing or bad thing so take that as you will. It doesn't say that Jimin shares a vocal coach with them, but he and Jin could definitely use better ones. It's all about the technique, with the right technique they could sound so much less strained but also be more flexible with their sound.
I love how their vocal colours shine when they let their voice relax. All of them, but especially JinMin sound so much nicer when they don't push for those high notes Bighit loves so much. I thought they all did really well, wish the rappers would have gotten a little more to do perhaps.
