Wow it looks like a lot of them are charting better this week vs the prior! I wonder why the increase

Congrats to Twice for 3rd place in streaming 🥳 I’m proud of them!! I saw their Spotify tracking Twitter says they have 40 million streams for 2021 already, that’s pretty cool! (It says for just January but idk, I wonder if it’s like Spotify Wrapped where they stop tracking your listens on November 1st for 2020 so I wonder if they do the same in general for counting on the platform. Like if they started Nov 2020, that large number makes sense. But either way I’m happy for them!)

And hey congrats to Stray Kids too. I feel like 2020 is the year I actually noticed them. Luckily after they got rid of the alleged troublemaker. 2021 might be the year they become bigger in Korea and their presence in the Kpop community keeps booming! Hopefully Itzy streams better in 2021, it was odd how they had a top 10 streamed song but didn’t make the Top 10 for Artists.

Rambling about Spotify stats

I like looking at Spotify stats for artists in general, wish I could see them on my phone! ICSM is heading towards 100 million fast! It’s around 77 million now in under 3 months and M&M just hit 90 mil and it’s been out since June. They might hit it around the same time at this rate?

Fancy is really close to their first 200 million streams and Likey is close to joining the 100 million club. Dance The Night Away just made 100 million! TT is around 83 and Cheer Up is around 60 something mil. Makes me wonder what the numbers could’ve been if JYPE actually added Twice to Spotify in 2015....like they should have.
