What's new? Hell of a week for BTS! Last week all of their songs from their new album "BE" charted, but this week, the Billboard's tribe has spoken and only "Life Goes On" remains in the different charts.
Good news for TWICE! No one can stop them from re-entering the Global 200 chart at No. 84!

I liked the outfits bc they were at least INTERESTING and not the same variation of baby pink or black dresses they’re always forced to wear. Red carpet fashion in SK is always so BORING.

I initially felt bad for BTS and ARMY then I realized that even though one would hope for better, this is still a spectacular result so 🥳🥳🥳

On the bright side, at least the fall for LGO was not as far as it was originally predicted to be. It's not the biggest fall for a #1 song, so there's that at least. Damn, Dynamite really is outperforming it on all platforms though, I can't really figure out why this comeback hasn't been doing as well as it should have been. I mean expensive album sales aside, shouldn't the streaming at least be stronger? All the other songs on the album fell out of the all the charts and it's only been a week.

"Life Goes On" is still selling really well even if the radio spins are practically non existent, the album too, but the individual b-sides not that much.
And going after Christmas songs in America is a race even US ARMY can't win. It's so weird how songs from decades ago always come back in the charts for Christmas. It's something I can't relate to as French laws for radio work differently.
They should have released the album in October but I guess they didn't want to compete with themselves and let MOTS get its success in the award shows.

Yeah, I noticed they're doing well sales wise but they're behind in streaming - even on the kcharts. So it's more than just US ARMY being up against the Christmas songs, they've fallen on a lot of global platforms. It is fascinating how Christmas songs will always rise every year in this season - I was shook at Mariah Carey and Wham in the top 10, but then again, those are my two fave Christmas jams lol I was not expecting anything from radio spins because neither ON nor Black Swan got any and that was literally earlier this year. I had hoped that BE would be received better, especially since it peaked at #1 whilst ON was #4, but since it's not in English, of course the US doesn't care.

Maybe they should have released the album earlier as you said, because most of us had predicted it would be in October and not November. Now BE will be competing against whatever their next album is and depending on how soon it will be released, it may get overshadowed by that. It's funny how ARMY had predicted that LGO would be on Spring Day levels of longevity, but it's actually Dynamite that is out here slaying on the charts still.
