that was my favourite Taehyung interview yet
sometimes he evades all the questions at interviews with questions of his own lol or he just says a pretty sentence but he was very straightforward and direct here.

love his statement on Blue & Grey and not wanting to say cheer up but rather, I feel you, I'm also sad and down. Bc I also find that helpful when I'm upset.

no words on the eternal key change "compromise" in BTS songs which always end up favouring the tenors cause I'm used to it at this point and their producers just really prefer higher range singing. Fly To My Room is very comfortable for Jimin to sing and not at all for Taehyung.

Edit: forgot to say the Dynamite performance was great. I know we've seen a bazillion of them but the song really is so much fun on stage/screen.

I feel the producers don’t even try. They just say “high ranges where you strain your voice and feel like you’re about to die are what we like so that’s it”. Like for the key to go up by 3?! I’m sorry but I feel there was no compromise involved. And I understand Jimin felt he couldn’t go lower but I swear earlier in their career he sang lower ranges. I think that the producers have so pigeon-holed him into high ranges that he feels he can no longer do what he has done before. It’s so annoying. All 7 of them have complained at different points that the keys for songs are too high. I just want BTS to get new producers who believe it’s ok for people to sing in ranges that are comfortable for them. The fact that I have to pray for this is ridiculous to me.

I've seen way too many fans "claim" that Jimin is a counter-tenor - which means that he would be equivalent to a female contralto or mezzo soprano (e.g. like Beyonce, Whitney Houston). As far as I know, Jimin is a tenor because his voice is not naturally that high. In their earlier songs, when he sings in his normal range, he sounds similar to Jungkook. No idea why these producers have him singing in these ridiculously high pitches instead of letting him sing in a comfortable range.

Jongin and Taehyung are both my biases, but I was honestly surprised when Jongin became the Gucci ambassador because I know Taehyung is all about that Gucci life lol I love seeing model Jongin though, so I'm not mad - he is one fine specimen 😎

BH is really holding themselves back because Taehyung (and other members) could have had so many solo endorsements by now. Yet, only EXO and BP are snatching up all the luxury brands. What's the point of Taehyung topping all these beauty and fashion lists if he's never going to model until he probably leaves BTS to embark on his solo career?

Budget? We don’t know her. The level of detail! To go from the hanger, to the Korean Air plane, to the Late late show set? And the details within each scene? All with the transitions from Life goes on? Spectacular! I don’t know who is in charge of production and set design for BTS but Big Hit needs to throw buckets of money at them for this. I will be forever impressed by this performance!!

I loved Taehyung’s interview. Blue & Grey is my fav song on the album and I’m glad it came from such an honest place for him

Yes! It would've been so easy for them to just scrape on by and do the bare minimum but they definitely up the remote performances with the beautiful sets and level of details of each. I am impressed as well.

This photo shoot is a personal attack against me and I saved each of those photos immediately. He’s so gorgeous and I wish they did more interesting photo shoots with editorial outfits. He and Jimin suit androgynous styles so well in my opinion. The interview was really really good. I loved his thoughts on Blue & Grey and his quote on being successful but what’s the point if he’s not happy.

It also sucks that BH producers are out here trying to ruin his vocal chords by making him sing in keys higher than he should be constantly. He has a good range but uhhhh a baritone shouldn’t have to be in alto key or lean on head voice that often.

I think it's time for me to upgrade my Tae icon because honestly, there are so many recent gifs I can use to showcase his gorgeous glorious god given features! This man was born to be a model! Still hands down the most attractive BTS member for me in my biased unbiased opinion lol 😍

I've said this before, but Taehyung is one of the few men that I've seen that literally has me in awe of how handsome he is, like I think he is absolutely stunning - like drop dead gorgeous. Sometimes, he leaves me speechless. He's just that attractive to me. Aside from his features, I really adore his voice because it's not often that you hear a baritone and his voice stands out so much in their songs because the rest of vocal line are tenors. Speaking of which, they need to let him sing in his actual range and stop forcing him to sound like the others because he is not a tenor. Yes, he has the widest range out of vocal line so he can reach similar notes as the other members, but it isn't exactly comfortable for him to be singing in that pitch all the time either. Let the baritone be a baritone. Give Taehyung parts that suit his voice, like with DNA and Fake Love. Stop making these guys strain their voices because it isn't as pleasant to listen to as they think it is.

Blue&Grey is my favourite song on the album and quite possibly my favourite ballad from them aside from Butterfly. It's a truly beautiful song and the meaning behind it is so melancholic but it really resonates with me. Even before I read the lyrics, I knew the song was going to be more meaningful than Life Goes On for me.
