BTS extends record as MOTS: Persona becomes their second album to go Gold in the UK

On September 4 local time, it was announced that BTS’s mini album “Map of the Soul: Persona” has achieved gold BRIT certification. The album was released in April 2019 and includes the title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey.

BRIT Certified awards are administered by the British Phonographic Industry, the trade association of the United Kingdom’s recorded music industry. A gold award is given to albums that have reached 100,000 units in sales.

This is BTS’s second album to go gold in the region, following “Love Yourself: Answer,” which was the first album by a Korean artist to achieve the feat. Still the only Korean act with a gold album in the United Kingdom, BTS has now extended their record to two albums.

I need Namjoon to pick me up and throw me across the room tbh. I am always here for male idols deciding to gain weight and muscle and it looks like he has been gaining it pretty healthily too. I remember him talking about working out more earlier in the year.

Yeah tbh a lot of that is potentially harmful, so imo blind items should be approached with a balance between "i wont treat it as truth because there's no proof of anything" and "idols aren't anyone's virtual boyfriends and we literally know nothing about their real lives so anything is possible."

Sasaengs are just so damn weird. Even weirder than the ppl who buy their idols expensive gifts despite those idols being millionaires.

I always felt that if one of them were to get a girl pregnant it would be Jungkook. He does seem to be the most careless out of all of them. Homeboy once walked through an airport with hickeys on his neck. He didn’t try to hide them with a scarf or anything. I love reading blind items from groups lol whether they’re true or not.
