Gallup 2019 Preferred Artists Survey of the Korean general public released

Gallup (yes, the same research organization that does all the polls for the presidential elections) has released their annual Preferred Idol Survey Report where they survey members of the Korean general population about their favorite entertainers of the year. This is their 13th year doing the survey. (The actor/actress version of this survey was released a few days before)

Jeongyeon’s popularity is rising :))) so stylists stop slacking off! Nayeon’s popularity won’t quit, and it’s great to see Sana and Mina - especially since they’ve both struggled this year! Glad to see the support :)

Jeongyeon's actually always been popular in Korea lol, it's only international fans that underestimate her. She and Nayeon are the only 2 members who've ranked on Gallup every year since 2016 (tho tbh how Sana didn't rank in 2016 or 2017 will always be a mystery to me).

I'm glad to see Sana ranking again despite the trouble she had earlier this year, and Mina making it as well (likely due to her hiatus, but it's a testament to how loved Twice is in Korea in general).

Biggest surprise was Tzuyu not making the Top 20 this year imo.

Nayeon is charming, can pull off cute and sexy, funny, entertaining- what’s there not to like??? But yea when I went to see Twice in concert, I didn’t see a lot of Nayeon light sticks at least where I was at :/ I don’t get why US fans don’t get her appeal
