It wasn’t.

Doesn’t mean that you don’t have to go to the hospital or face charges for a traffic law violation though.

I have 0 to back me up I barely know these people but honestly it gives me "i don't like this stuff so ima just pretend to sleep so I don't have to participate" vibes.

but I also know kpop stars don't sleep, so.

this looks good actually. it was a good idea to film this after their break so they're rested and actually want to do stuff unlike in the other seasons where sometimes you can tell they just want to stay in and sleep.

Lmao.

I am finding the antis frothing at the mouth that he posted about Overwatch instead of spending time at a monastery reflecting on his sins hilarious.
Just say he’s a degenerate for having long hair, ugly tats, a casual fuck buddy and being a shitty driver and go. The transparent attempt at making this sound worse than it is, is very entertaining. And seeing the stans trying to clear searches over it is just icing on the cake.

All around enjoyable mess.

This just encapsulates this whole months-long "scandal".

he hasn't been able to catch a break lmao! and they're so stupid i love it. he seems to be creating scandals to fill out the days when nothing else major is happening in kpop in the last few months...

omg I saw one netizen comment that was like "I knew he was bad news when he got those tattoos" and I just lol'd. it's all so dramatic. not even my 70 yr old grandma makes a big deal out of tattoos.

Well it’ll probably just end up being a fine he has to pay
Hopefully amys can chill with the death threats towards children now

I'm cackling at army being called out for being assholes, and that some army responded by continuing to be assholes.

(army is not unique in this, but they're the current big bad, so enjoying.)

I think that entire clean the searches thing is ridiculous but that Telegraph reporter had it coming...fangirls are always gonna overreact to anything but the amount of coverage this has received is insane, considering. His article was sensationalised clickbait, don't get mad when you're called out for it dude. Also is cleaning the searches really covering anything up? I can honestly say on twitter I've always been made aware of whatever "scandal" BTS ran into right away just by everyone buzzing about it.

Wow, that AJ article was definitely... interesting. Fandom can be so scary.

Dude hardly ever tweets. The one time he decides to, it happens to be right after his accident. I can’t with him lmao

Seriously. I saw some armys trying to justify his posting by saying that tweeting is part of his job and how can you expect him to neglect his responsibilities just because he got into a minor accident earlier that day?? Like, no, tweeting is not one of his daily work requirements. (Or if it is, he's doing a terrible job at it.)

His accident apparently occurred at 4am and the tweets were posted around noon. The only explanation in his favor that I can think of is that the tweets were drafted far in advance and whatever bighit staff that act as mods for their twitter account decided to post them then. But if JK is the one who posted them at that time, it's nagl in my opinion. Playing games after causing an accident is one thing, but posting about it is another.

Wasn’t the accident in like November and that tweet in Ictiber though? Time difference wouldn’t affect that.

There have been a couple dates floating around, but all the recent articles I've seen have put the accident as occurring on October 31 at 4am and the tweets were posted in the early afternoon on the same day.

wasn't it November 2? at least that's what I read in articles. would make more sense since everything about it was reported on November 4, why would they wait so long.

Date: 2019-11-09 12:54 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] daydreamsofblue.livejournal.com
Yeah, November 2 was the first date I saw too, but since then some articles have changed it to October 31.

Kboo, knetizen, and akp all have articles saying it was the 31st. Obviously those aren't ideal sources, but kboo and knetizen at least link to their original sources which are from Korean news sites.

From: [identity profile] rainstormraider.livejournal.com
The official statements still say November 2nd, though. The sites saying October 31st are from Naver and thus not necessarily reliable.

Oh, that's good to know. Thanks. It makes me wonder why bh isn't doing more to discourage false reporting then.

But wait. Do Naver articles not have to pass some standard of accuracy?

I mean if it was his daily work requirement to tweet then maybe he’d actually tweet daily but he doesn’t 😂. He only tweets once every blue moon lol

Date: 2019-11-09 04:41 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] daydreamsofblue.livejournal.com
Exactly. Maybe it should become a daily requirement for him and Yoongi, lol. Or at least a weekly one.

All official stuff on this mess claims the tweet was at least 24 hours before the accident though? I mean it’s easy to corroborate so why is this still a thing. Lol.

All official stuff on this mess claims the tweet was at least 24 hours before the accident, so this Overwatch mess just seems like more anti behaviour.

This is so weird to me

Ive been in an at fault car accident (as in my fault) like this & it seems like its being reported on a lot more than necesssry. Even if he is a celeb, that just means it should be even easier for him (his auto insurance)to just pay for the other partys car and maybe a little extra & be done.
