BTS Roundup (Comeback/Interview, Mattel mini-dolls, Gus Van Sant)

In an interview with iHeartRadio discussing their recent collab with Lauv, RM confirmed BTS was working on their new album but stated that December's Jingle Ball was the "biggest event" they have left in 2019, possibly a hint that BTS's comeback would not be in the last part of 2019 as people have speculated but in early 2020 instead.

After collaborating with BTS before on BTS dolls, Mattel announced that they would be releasing new mini-dolls of BTS. BTS visited their new pop-up store to pose with big versions of their mini-dolls.

In an interview with i-D magazine, Hollywood director Gus Van Sant mentioned he wanted to photograph Jimin:

Yeah, I couldn't think of a comment about the Gus Van Sant thing because it's so surreal I couldn't get my mind about it. Like Gus Van Sant mentioning BTS/Jimin in an interview sounds like some weird mad libs shit or something cooked up in a fever dream.

The actual mini dolls are kinda ugly.... I was quite deceived by the animation and was hoping the real items can look like the animation, which I was hoping like Nendoroid from Good Smile....... but then there's that. Big mistake to make it from Mattel, although ok I understand maybe it's due to contract :(

Comeback in January..... ahh so long! Y'all better be good with this extra time lol

The dolls are cute but look nothing like them?
Like other than the outfits and JK emblazoned on the Jungkook doll I would be lost.

Also that Gus Van Sant name check is hilarious.
